장애자녀를 둔 어머니의 공감피로, 공감만족과 양육유능감에 미치는 영향요인 분석 = A Study of Factors which Influence the Compassion Fatigue, Compassion Satisfaction and Parenting Sense of Competence of Mother of Children with Disabilities

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to explore the factors affecting on the compassion fatigue, compassion satisfaction and parenting sense of competence of mother of children with disabilities. To this end, 283 mother of children with disabilities were asked to completed the questionnaires investigating the compassion fatigue, compassion satisfaction and parenting sense of competence. The collected data were analyzed by using the multiple regression analyses and the hierarchical multiple regression analyses with the dummy variables. The results were as follows. First, the level of the compassion fatigue, compassion satisfaction and parenting sense of competence of mother of children with disabilities were on the average. And there was a statistically significant negative correlation between the compassion fatigue and compassion satisfaction, and so was between the compassion of fatigue and parenting sense of competence. As well, there was high positive correlation between the compassion of satisfaction and parenting sense of competence. Second, the factors affecting on the compassion fatigue and compassion satisfaction of mothers of children with disabilities were the amount of leisure time, the number of children and the gender of children with disabilities. As well the variables affecting the parenting sense of competence were the amount of leisure time, the number of children and the gender of children with disabilities, and the sufficient supports of specialist, either. Based on these results, it could be concluded that to reduce the compassion fatigue of mother of children with disabilities, the supports of specialist who was able to improve support of leisure or parenting sense of competence consistently had to be provided with them.
