남녀 대학생의 자율성, 유능감, 관계성이 진로미결정에 미치는 영향 = Korean College Students' Career Indecision in Relation to Their Autonomy, Competence and Relatedness

The purpose of this study was to examine Korean college students' career indecision in relation to their career decision autonomy, competence, and relatedness. The study samples were composed of 1,389 students. According to the model, the influences of career decision relatedness and autonomy on career indecision are mediated by career decision competence. Multi-group analysis was carried to compare the career indecision models of men and women. There was a statistically significant difference between men and women.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 자기결정성 이론의 세 가지 욕구인 자율성, 유능감, 관계성에 근거하여 진로미결정과의 관계를 탐색하는 것이다. 모형을 검증하기 위한 연구대상은 1,389명의 대학생이었고 모형검증은 비실험자료를 분석하여 이론적으로 설명하고자 할 때 적합한 방식인 구조방정식 모형을 사용하였다. 구체적으로는 진로결정효능감이 진로결정자율성과 진로미결정의 관계에서 매개변인으로 작용하는지, 그리고 진로결정관계성과 진로미결정과의 관계에서 매개변인으로 작용하는지 살펴보았다. 모형의 전반적인 적합도를 비교하기 위해 두 개의 경쟁모형을 구성하여 진로미결정 모형에서 남녀별 차이가 있는지 확인하였다. 이를 위해서 다집단 분석을 시행하였고 집단별로 각 경로계수의 효과크기를 검증하였다. 연구결과 진로결정관계성이 진로미결정에 미치는 영향에 있어서 남학생과 여학생 집단 간의 구조모형이 다르게 나타났다. 구체적으로 남학생 집단에서는 진로결정효능감이 진로결정관계성과 진로미결정과의 관계에서 부분매개 효과를 보인 반면, 여학생 집단에서는 완전매개 효과를 보였다. 진로결정효능감이 진로결정자율성과 진로미결정과의 관계에서 부분매개효과를 보이는 것은 남녀집단에서 동일하게 나타났다. 이와 같이 이 연구는 진로결정자율성, 진로결정효능감, 진로결정관계성이 진로미결정에 미치는 영향에 있어서 남녀 집단간 모형의 차이를 확인함으로써 진로미결정으로 인해 어려움을 겪는 남학생과 여학생들에 대해 보다 폭넓은 이해의 틀을 제공하였다는 데에 의의가 있다.
