사과배지와 인공배지에서 배양된 초파리를 각각 식이로 제공하여 소금쟁이(Gerris paludum insularis)를 광주기 16L:8D, 광도 510土240 lux, 상대습도 65±3%의 동일한 조건으로 조절되는 25℃, 30℃의 항온과 자연상태의 변온조건에서 사육하여 그 발육을 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 사과배지에서 사육한 초파리를 먹이로 한 유충의 총발육기간은 자연상태가 가장 긴 40일이었으며, 25℃ 35일, 30℃ 27일이었다. 인공배지에서 사육한 초파리를 먹이로 한 유충의 총 발육기간은 25℃에서는 42일로 가장 길었으며, 자연상태에서는 32일, 30℃에서는 27일의 순으로 나타났다. 2. 각 발육한계 중 5령이 가장 발육기간이 길었으며, 식이의 영향을 받지 않는 난기는 25℃에서 가장 길었다. 3. 인공배지에서 사육한 초파리를 먹이로 한 유충은 25℃에서는 정상적인 발육이 어려웠다. 4. 30℃에서는 식이에 따른 발육기간의 차는 나타나지 않았으나 25℃와 자연상태에서는 식이에 따라 발육기간에 차가 생겼다. 5. 성체출현율은 사과배지의 것이 인공배지의 것보다 높았다. 6. 생존곡선은 ??형이었다. 7. 소금쟁이의 발육은 식이와 온도에 크게 의존하였다. The water striders, Gerris paludum insularis larvae which were fed with the Drosophila melanogaster cultured on the apple diet and the artificial diet, were reared in the growth cabinet controlled as the two constant temperture regimes of 25℃ and 30℃ under the condition of photoperiod 16L:8D, light intensity 510±240 lux, relative humidity 65±3%, and in the natural state. The effects of temperature and diet on the development of G. paludum insularis were analyzed and the results were summarized as follows. 1. The total developmental period of the water strider larvae fed with the D. melanogaster reared on the apple diet at the natural state was the longest 40 days, and the total developmental periods at 25℃ and 30℃ were 35 days and 27 days respectively. The total developmental period of larvae fed with D. melanogaster reared on the artificial diet at 25℃ was the longest 42 days, and the total developmental periods at natural state and 30℃ were 32 days and 27 days, respectively. 2. In the larval developmental stages, the fifth stage was longer than that of any stages. The duration of egg stage which was not influenced by diet at 25℃ was the longest. 3. The water strider larvae fed with the D. melanogaster reared on the artificial diet at 25℃ did not complete their development. 4. No significant difference was observed in the developmental period for diet at 30℃. But, there were significant differences in developmental periods for diet at 25℃ and natural state. 5. The rate of adult emergence on the apple diet was higher than that of the artificial diet. 6. The shapes of the survivorship curve were convex-curve. 7. The developmental periods of the larval stages of water striders might be affected to temperature and diet dependently.

The effect of high temperature on the threshold current density and the grain of In_xGa_1-xAs/InGaAsP(E_g=1.6eV) QW lasers lattice matched to GaAs is investigated theoretically. These results are also compared with those of In_xGa_1-xAs/GaAs QW lasers. It is found that better performance can be achieved in InGaAs/InGaAsP lasers compared to InGaAs/GaAs lasers at high temperature. This is due to the fact that the temperature dependence of the threshold carrier density for InGaAs/InGaAsP lasers is weaker than that for InGaAs/GaAs lasers. The calculated characteristic temperature is in good agreement with reported experimental results.

The reaction of 6-chloro-2-[2-(p-chlorobenzylidene)-1-methylhydrazino]quinoxaline 4-oxide 3a or 2-[2-(p-bromobenzylidene)-1-methylhydrazino]-6-chloroquinoxaline 4-oxide 3b with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate under reflux in N,N-dimethylformamide resulted in deoxygenation to give 6-chloro-2-[2-(p-chlorobenzylidene)-1-methylhydrazino]quinoxaline 4a or 2-[2-(p-bromobenzilidene)-1-methylhydrazino]-6-chloroquinoxaline 4b, respectively, while the reaction of compound 3a or 3b with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate under reflux in dioxane precipitated dimethyl 8-chloro-4-[2-(p-chlorobenzyli-dene)-1-methylhydrazino]-3aH-isoxazolo[2,3-a]quinoxaline-2,3-dicarboxylate 6a or dimethyl 4-[2-(p-bromobenzylidene)-1-methylhydrazino]-8-chloro-3aH-isoxazolo[2,3-a]quinoxaline-2,3-dicarboxylate 6b, respectively. Further refluxing of compound 6a or 6b in N,N-dimethylformamide provided compound 4a or 4b, respectively.

The reaction of 6-chloro-2-hydrazinoquinoxaline 4-oxide 6 with ethyl 2-(ethoxymethylene)-2-cyanoacetate or (1-ethoxyethylidene)malononitrile gave 2-(5-amino-4-ethoxycarbonylpyrazol-l-yl)-6-chloroquinoxaline 4-oxide 7a or 2-(5-amino-4-cyano-3-methylpyrazol-l-yl)-6-chloroquinoxaline 4-oxide 7b, respectively. The reaction of compound 7a or 7b with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate resulted in the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction and then ring transformation to afford 4-(5-amino-4-ethoxycarbonylpyrazol-l-yl)-8-chloro-1,2,3-trismethoxycarbonylpyrrolo[1, 2-a]quinoxaline 8a or 4-(5-amino-4-cyano-3-methylpyrazol-l-yl)-8-chloro-1,2,3-trismethoxycarbonylpyrrolo[1,2-a]quinoxaline 8b, respectively.

High temperature thermally stimulated current(TCS) was studied on the close-spaced vapour transported CdS films. In order to test inherent photochemical reaction occured in this material, different illumination conditions were used. TSC measurent was carried out both vacuum and atmospheric condition to investigate the effect of atmospheric gases on the performance of the films. Three independent TSC peaks were observed clearly when CdS film had been annealed at 525K under atmospheric condition and these are not due to three distinct defect states, but to dissociation of a complex trap originated from the chemisorption of oxygen on the surface of CdS film. Therefore, Photochemical reaction seens to be responsible for the observed different TSC peaks under different illumination conditions.
Band gap shrinkage in GaInAs/GaInAsP/InP multi-quantum well lasers

We investigated a band gap shrinkage in both lattice-matched and compressive strained GaInAs/GaInAsP/InP multi-quantum well lasers. The band gap shrinkage is obtained from the broadening of the low energy side in the spectrum by considering effects of an intraband scattering and a fundamental band edge. It amounts to 20-25 meV at sheet carrier densities of above 10^12 ㎝^-2, and shows n^1/1.3 dependence at low carrier densities and n^1/3 dependence at higher densities. These dependencies agree well with theoretical predictions in the quantum well.

트리플데카 착물류, bis-(η^5-cyclopentadienyl)-μ-(η^4-1,2,3,4-tetraalkylcyclobutadiene)dicobalt들은 Jonas시약과 2-hexyne 또는 3-hexyne을 실온에서 동량으로 반응시킬때, 50% 이상의 최대 수율이 얻어졌다. 한 종류의 트리플데카 착물인 bis-(η^5-cyclopentadienyl)-μ-(η^4-1,2,3,4-tetraalkylcyclobutadiene)dicobalt(13)는 실온에서 3-hexyne과 반응시키면, 착물 (η^5-cyclopentadienyl)cobalt-acyclopentadiene-μ-(η^4-2,4-cobaltacyclope-ntadiene)(η^5-cyclopentadienyl)cobalt(15)로 이성화되었다. 다른 한 종류의 트리플데카 착물, bis-(η^5-cyclopentadienyl)-μ-(η^4-1,3-dimethyl-2,4-dipropyl-cyclobutadiene)dicobalt(14)를 2-hexyne 과 반응시켰더니 1,3,5-tri-methyl-2,4,6-tripropyl benzene화합물이 생성되었다. The tripledecker complexes, bis-(η^5-cyclopentadienyl)-μ-(η^4-1,2,3,4-tetraalkylcyclobutadiene)dicobalt were produced by the reaction of Jonas reagent with 2-hexyne and 3-hexyne in the maxi-mum yield(above 50%) when they were reacted in eq-molar amounts at room temperature. A tripledecker complexes,bis-(η^2-cyclopentadienyl)-μ-(η^4-1,2,3,4-tetraalkylcyclobutadiene)dicobalt(13) was isomerized to (η^5-cyclopentadienyl)cobalt-acyclopentadiene-μ-(η^4-2,4-cobaltacyclope-ntadiene)(η^5-cyclopentadienyl)cobalt(15) on reacting with 3-hexyne at room temperature. Another tripledecker complex, bis-(η^5-cyclopentadienyl)-μ-(η^4-1,3-dimethyl-2,4-dipropyl-cyclobutadiene)dicobalt(14) was decomposed to give 1,3,5-trimethyl-2,4,6-trip-ropylbenzene through an intermediate complex by the reaction of 2-hexyne.
