사과배지와 인공배지에서 배양된 초파리를 각각 식이로 제공하여 소금쟁이(Gerris paludum insularis)를 광주기 16L:8D, 광도 510土240 lux, 상대습도 65±3%의 동일한 조건으로 조절되는 25℃, 30℃의 항온과 자연상태의 변온조건에서 사육하여 그 발육을 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 사과배지에서 사육한 초파리를 먹이로 한 유충의 총발육기간은 자연상태가 가장 긴 40일이었으며, 25℃ 35일, 30℃ 27일이었다. 인공배지에서 사육한 초파리를 먹이로 한 유충의 총 발육기간은 25℃에서는 42일로 가장 길었으며, 자연상태에서는 32일, 30℃에서는 27일의 순으로 나타났다. 2. 각 발육한계 중 5령이 가장 발육기간이 길었으며, 식이의 영향을 받지 않는 난기는 25℃에서 가장 길었다. 3. 인공배지에서 사육한 초파리를 먹이로 한 유충은 25℃에서는 정상적인 발육이 어려웠다. 4. 30℃에서는 식이에 따른 발육기간의 차는 나타나지 않았으나 25℃와 자연상태에서는 식이에 따라 발육기간에 차가 생겼다. 5. 성체출현율은 사과배지의 것이 인공배지의 것보다 높았다. 6. 생존곡선은 ??형이었다. 7. 소금쟁이의 발육은 식이와 온도에 크게 의존하였다. The water striders, Gerris paludum insularis larvae which were fed with the Drosophila melanogaster cultured on the apple diet and the artificial diet, were reared in the growth cabinet controlled as the two constant temperture regimes of 25℃ and 30℃ under the condition of photoperiod 16L:8D, light intensity 510±240 lux, relative humidity 65±3%, and in the natural state. The effects of temperature and diet on the development of G. paludum insularis were analyzed and the results were summarized as follows. 1. The total developmental period of the water strider larvae fed with the D. melanogaster reared on the apple diet at the natural state was the longest 40 days, and the total developmental periods at 25℃ and 30℃ were 35 days and 27 days respectively. The total developmental period of larvae fed with D. melanogaster reared on the artificial diet at 25℃ was the longest 42 days, and the total developmental periods at natural state and 30℃ were 32 days and 27 days, respectively. 2. In the larval developmental stages, the fifth stage was longer than that of any stages. The duration of egg stage which was not influenced by diet at 25℃ was the longest. 3. The water strider larvae fed with the D. melanogaster reared on the artificial diet at 25℃ did not complete their development. 4. No significant difference was observed in the developmental period for diet at 30℃. But, there were significant differences in developmental periods for diet at 25℃ and natural state. 5. The rate of adult emergence on the apple diet was higher than that of the artificial diet. 6. The shapes of the survivorship curve were convex-curve. 7. The developmental periods of the larval stages of water striders might be affected to temperature and diet dependently.

진도개와 삽사리 혈청 lactate dehydrogenase와 혈청 alkaline phosphatase의 동위효소 및 효소활성도를 분석하였다. 전기영동결과 진도개와 삽사리의 혈청에서는 5가지 종류의 LDH의 동위효소가 모두 확인되었다. LDH의 활성도는 진돗개의 경우 522.53 ± 279.96(U/L)이었고 삽사리는 534.10 ± 280.35(U/L)이었다. 진도개와 삽사리의 혈청 alkaline phosphatase전기영동상에서는 한 종류의 동위효소만 관찰되었고 활성도는 진도개의 경우 7.61 ± 4.52(K-A unit)였고 삽사리는 10.46 ± 7.10(K-A unit)였다. 삽사리의 ALP 활성도는 연령에 따라 커다란 차이를 나타내었다. Isozymes and activities of serum lactate dehydrogenase and serum alkaline phosphatase were examined in Korean Jindo dog and Sapsaree. The electrophoretic pattern of serum lactate dehydrogenase showed five isozymes. The activities of serum lactate dehydrogenase were 522.53 ± 279.96 and 534.10 ± 280.35(U/L) in Jindo dog and Sapsaree. One kind of isozymes was observed in electrophoretic phenotypes of serum alkaline phosphatase. The activities of serum alkaline phosphatase were 7.61 ± 4.52 and 10.46 ± 7.10 (K-A unit) in Jindo dog and Sapsaree. A significant difference of alkaline phosphatase was observed according to the age in Sapsaree.
Characterization of Predicted Residual Sum of Squares for Detecting Joint Influence in Regression

In regression diagnostics, a number of joint influence measures based on various statistical tools have been discussed. We consider and alternate representation in terms of the predicted residual and g-leverage determined by the remaining points. By this approach, we choose the predicted residual sum of squares for the keypoints as joint influence measure and propose a new expression of it so that we can extend the single case form to the multiple case one. Furthermore we suggest a seach method for joint influence after investigating some properties of the new expression.
MO study of Hydride Transfer between NADH and Flavin Nucleotides

The mechanism has been MO-theoretically described for the reaction of NADH and flavin nucleotides. Their bioactive regions were found to be the part forming transbutadiene type in the molecular by examining the respective HOMO and LUMO electron densities of nicotinamide ring and isoalloxazine ring of flavin. The electron densities of 1, 2, 3 and 4 positions of the transbutadiene part were found to be considerably larger than those of any other positions in the molecules. A loose molecular complex, which stacks with congruity between C(4) of nicotinamide ring and N(5) of the isoalloxazine ring, was estimated to be formed by calculating the quantities of charge transfer occuring through 1,2,3 and 4 positions between them. Accordingly, we propose the mechanism that molecular complex first would be formed and follwed by the hydride transfer.

In regression diagnostics, a number of outlier measures based on various statisti-cal tools have been discussed. These measures usually pay attantion to detecting individual outlier. However, there exists a situation in which observations are mul-tiple but not individual outliers or the other way about. The situation is refered to as a masking effect which means that the outlier of one observation is masked by the presence of another observation. The multiple outlier is often overlooked be-cause it is much more difficult to detect than the individual outliers. We propose a new expression of John and Draper's outlier sum of square. The advantages from the theroretical point of view are that the expression is based not only on the mutiple case but also on the single case, and that we can detect multiple outliers with the masking effect by investigating the difference between the multiple outliers and sum of the individual outliers. Furthermore we suggest a search method for multiple outliers after investigating some properties of the new expression.

As a corollary the Hewitt-Savage zero-one law is ob-tained using the fact that interchangeable process is conditionally i.i.d. given the σ-algebra of permutable events.
X-선 회절을 이용한 비정질 Ta-IPA 괴상과 박막의 구조 비교에 관한 연구

Sol-gel법을 통하여 만들어진 비정질 Ta-IPA 괴상과 박막을 25℃와 340℃로 열처리한 구조의 차이점과 구조수와의 관계를 TG-DTA, IR과 X-선회절 강도측정으로부터 구한 동경분포곡선 등을 이용하여 알아보았다. 각 시편들을 L-Ta_2O_5 결정의 물성 및 동경분포곡선(calc-RDF)과 비교하였다. 박막은 8면체-TaO_6로 괴상보다 작은 cluster로 구성되어 있었다. The structural variation process and relation of water of amorphous Ta-IPA bulk and thin film upon heat-treatment conditions of 25℃ and 340℃ have been studied by using the radial distribution functions (RDF_obs) estimated from the X-ray diffraction intensities, TG-DTA and Infrared spectrophotometer. The expected Ta-IPA structure was determined by comparing the RDF_obs with that for RDF_calc. The structure of specimens prepared by sol-gel method is basically based on the L-Ta_2O_5 crystal. Thin film of samples are mainly composed of octahedral TaO_6 and have smaller cluster than bulk samples.
