<P><B>Introduction</B></P> <P>The purpose of this study was to investigate maxillomandibular transverse widths and molar inclinations of adults with hypodivergent, normodivergent, and hyperdivergent facial patterns using cone-beam computed tomography.</P> <P><B>Methods</B></P> <P>We evaluated Class I subjects (55 men, 66 women) who were divided into hypodivergent (<27°), normodivergent (28°-37°), and hyperdivergent (>38°) groups by their mandibular plane angles. Frontal and coronal views of the images were analyzed. Sex differences, vertical facial pattern differences, and related factors were assessed with independent 2-sample <I>t</I> tests, 1-way analysis of variance followed by post hoc Tukey tests, and Pearson correlation analysis.</P> <P><B>Results</B></P> <P>The hypodivergent group had greater maxillary alveolar widths 7 mm apically from the alveolar crest. The intermolar widths and molar inclinations showed no significant differences among the groups. As the mandibular plane angles increased, interjugular widths, transverse mandibular widths, and buccolingual maxillary alveolar widths at the midroot level decreased, whereas the maxillomandibular width differences and palatal heights increased im both sexes.</P> <P><B>Conclusions</B></P> <P>An increase in the mandibular plane angle is associated with tendencies of narrow mandibular arches, thinner maxillary alveolar bones at the midroot level, and higher palatal arches in both sexes. Enhanced healthcare technologies converged with information technology let digital hospital emerged, that enables healthcare services oriented to human, lower cost running hospitals and improved health services. However, the existing medical device management systems in hospitals run on manually by PCs. That makes difficult interworking medical devices with EMR efficiently. To solve this problem, we propose Medical Gateway Server(MGS) based on components to interwork efficiently Medical Gateway(MG) with EMR running at each hospital. MGS is designed with OSGi, the plug-in architecture of Eclipse and enables dynamic and remote control of medical devices and services by supporting efficiently various medical devices and EMR of each hospital.

<P>This letter proposes an Index based on Irregular Partition of data identifiers (IIP), to enable clients to quickly access multiple data items on a wireless broadcast channel. IIP improves the access time by reducing the index waiting time when clients access multiple data items, through the use of irregular partitioning of the identifier space of data items. Our performance evaluation shows that with respect to access time, the proposed IIP outperforms the existing index schemes supporting multiple data access.</P>
N-스크린 서비스를 위한 실시간 의료 정보 공유 프레임워크 설계 및 구현

Smart Healthcare in the convergence of advanced IT and medical technologies makes the expectation to effective health services higher. For the efficient services, it is critical to share health information between medical teams and patients. Although N-screen services is adaptable to the smart healthcare for sharing information, the existing researches on N-screen is confined within the fields of entertainments. In this paper, we design and implement a real-time health information sharing framework based on N-screen to support sharing medical information between N mobile devices. The designed framework supports the standard for health information and provides scalability to various services in hospitals. Also, the system can be applied to various healthcare services through the link to standard-based PHD.
힐링 서비스 환경에서 시각장애인의 웹서비스 접근성 향상을 위한 사용자 인터페이스 구조 설계

Smart computing environments with the IT advanced in rapid speed and smart devices miniatured provide the convenience to our daily life. In these environments, the disabled can use healing services providing healthcare over the web and it is very important to improve the web accessibility for the efficient services for the disabled. The accessibility plug-ins for the disabled cause the process time long because it is the type of cursor searching. In this paper, we propose a user interface structure that adopts a tree structure in order to use in ease the web services through the intuitive perception of positions in the smartphone screen. The proposed structure lets the blind access the web services easily by boosting the web accessibility.
멀티채널 데이터 방송을 이용한 CCR 기반 헬스케어 서비스 설계와 구현

스마트 헬스케어 서비스에서 헬스 데이터의 연속성과 긴급한 데이터를 우선적으로 제공할 수 있는 유연성, 대량의 클라이언트를 지원할 수 있는 확장성이 중요하다. 본 논문은 헬스 케어 서비스가 헬스 데이터에 대한 연속성, 클라이언트에 대한 확장성, 긴급한 헬스 데이터를 클라이언트들이 빠르게 액세스할 수 있는 유연성을 제공할 수 있도록 하기 위해서 멀티 채널 데이터 방송을 이용한 CCR 기반의 헬스케어 서비스 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템에서는 클라이언트들이 요청한 CCR 문서들에 대해 긴급도를 적용하여 긴급 CCR 문서와 평이 CCR 문서로 나누고, 긴급 CCR 문서와 평이 CCR 문서를 각각 다른 무선 채널에 방송하여 클라이언트들이 긴급 문서를 빠르게 액세스할 수 있도록 한다. 제안된 시스템에서 클라이언트들이 긴급 CCR 문서를 효과적으로 검색할 수 있도록 분산 인덱스 DICD(Distributed Index for CCR Document)를 설계하고, 멀티 채널에서 클라이언트들이 DICD를 이용하여 CCR 문서를 검색할 수 있는 알고리즘을 설계한다. 성능평가를 통해 제안된 시스템이 기존 연구에 비해 클라이언트의 액세스시간이 짧은 것을 통해 성능의 우수함을 보인다. In smart healthcare services, the continuity of health data, flexibility for urgent data, and scalability for supporting a number of clients are important. This paper proposes a CCR-based healthcare service system using multi-channel wireless broadcasting in order to support the continuity, flexibility and scalability. The proposed system adapts the level of urgency for CCR douments clients request and divides the documents into urgent CCR documents and plain documents. Then, the system broadcasts the divided CCR documents on multi channel separately to help the clients access the urgent document quickly. Also, the proposed system designs distributed index for CCR document, DICD, and the algorithms for clients to search CCR documents they request from the wireless channde using DICD. Through the performance evaluation, we show the proposed system outperforms the existing researches in the access time.
