This paper deals with two problems of optimal portfolio strate-gies in continuous time. The rst one studies the optimal behavior of a rmwho is forced to withdraw funds continuously at a xed rate per unit time. The second one considers a rm that is faced with an uncontrollable sto-chastic cash ow, or random risk process. We assume the rm’s incomecan be obtained only from the investment in two assets: a risky asset (e.g.,stock) and a riskless asset (e.g., bond). Therefore, the rm’s wealth followsa stochastic process. When the wealth is lower than certain legal level, therm goes bankrupt. Thus how to invest is the fundamental problem of therm in order to avoid bankruptcy. Under the case of dierent lending andborrowing rates, we obtain the optimal portfolio strategies for some reason-able objective functions that are the piecewise linear functions of the rm’scurrent wealth and present some interesting proofs for the conclusions. Theoptimal policies are easy to be operated for any relevant investor.

This paper considers the H∞ control problem for the uncertain time delay system with nonlinear external disturbance. Given a system containing nonlinear external disturbance, our purpose is to design a robust controller such that the uncertain system is asymptotically stable with a generalized H∞ disturbance attenuation level In this paper we propose a new approach to design the controller for the uncertain system which is composed of a linear controller and an adaptive controller. The problem is solved by introducing a switching function and using the idea of formulation. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, new sufficient conditions are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The effectiveness and advantages of the proposed controller design are shown via a numerical example.

In this paper cellular neural networks with continuously distributed delays are considered. Sufficient conditions for the existence and exponential stability of the almost periodic solutions are established by using fixed point theorem, Lyapunov functional method and differential inequality technique. The results of this paper are new and they complement previously known results.

This paper concerns the problem of global robust stability of a time-delay discontinuous system with a positive-defined connection matrix under polytopic-type uncertainty. In order to give the stability condition, we firstly address the existence of solution and equilibrium point based on the properties of M-matrix, Lyapunov-like approach and the theories of differential equations with discontinuous right-hand side as introduced by Filippov. Second, we give the delay-independent and delay-dependent stability condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and based on Lyapunov function and the properties of the convex sets. One numerical example demonstrate the validity of the proposed criteria.

Although programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1)/ programmed cell death-ligand protein 1 (PD-L1) checkpoint blockade immunotherapy demonstrates great promise in cancer treatment, poor infiltration of T cells resulted from tumor immunosuppressive microenvironment (TIME) and insufficient accumulation of anti-PD-L1 (αPD-L1) in tumor sites diminish the immune response. Herein, we reported a drug-loaded microbubble delivery system to overcome these obstacles and enhance PD-L1 blockade immunotherapy.Docetaxel (DTX) and imiquimod (R837)-loaded microbubbles (RD@MBs) were synthesized via a typical rotary evaporation method combined with mechanical oscillation. The targeted release of drugs was achieved by using the directional "bursting" capability of ultrasound-targeted microbubble destruction (UTMD) technology. The antitumor immune response by RD@MBs combining αPD-L1 were evaluated on 4T1 and CT26 tumor models. The dying tumor cells induced by DTX release tumor-associated antigens (TAAs), together with R837, promoted the activation, proliferation and recruitment of T cells. Besides, UTMD technology and DTX enhanced the accumulation of αPD-L1 in tumor sites. Moreover, RD@MBs remolded TIME, including the polarization of M2-phenotype tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) to M1-phenotype, and reduction of myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs). The RD@MBs + αPD-L1 synergistic therapy not only effectively inhibited the growth of primary tumors, but also significantly inhibited the mimic distant tumors as well as lung metastases.PD-L1 blockade immunotherapy was enhanced by RD@MBs delivery system.
