원통다관형 열환기 내 고체입자들을 자연 순환시켜 오염물질을 세정함으로서 항상 오염이 되지 않는 순환유동층 열교환기를 개발하는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자, 다양한 고체입자들에 따른 열전달과 유동특성의 변화를 조사하고, 또한 장시간에 걸친 오염 실험을 행하여 아래와 같은 결론을 얻었다. 유체 속도가 증가할수록 충돌횟수가 감소하였고 구리의 경우 1.3 m/s이상의 유속에서는 충돌이 이루어지지 않고 상승하였다. 비중이 클수록 대체로 항력계수가 증가하였고 내부 유동일 경우가 외부유동일 경우보다 항력계수가 컸다. Al 입자의 경우 순환 유동층 열교환기의 튜브내 유속을 0.4m/s~0.7m/s 범위로 하면 오염을 제거할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 열전달계수도 고체입자를 순환하지 않는 열교환기보다 2배 이상의 열전달계수 상승효과를 얻었다. The commercial viability of heat exchanger is mainly dependent on their long-term fouling characteristics because the fouling increases the pressure loss and degrades the thermal performance of a heat exchanger. An experimental study was performed to investigate the characteristics of fluid flow and heat transfer in a fluidized bed heat exchanger with circulating various solid particles. The present work showed that the drag coefficients of particles in the internal flow were higher than in the external flow, in addition, the solid particle periodically hitting the tube wall broke the thermal boundary layer, and increased the rate of heat transfer. Particularly when the flow velocity was low, the effect was more pronounced.

This paper is to present the results of a comprehensive study on heat transfer in annuli with spirally corrugated inner tubes in tile turbulent regime. Tube surface-temperature measurements were used to explain the enhancement phenomena in the annuli with several different corrugated tubes. Nusselt numbers were between 1.1 and 2 times the smooth annulus values. These enhancement values can be used to determine the appropriate range of applicability for spirally corrugated annuli.

<P>Pure silica zeolite (Silicalite-1) bricks with a 2D morphology were assembled on a slide glass and used as templates for the preparation of microstructured organic network films (MONFs) with a hollow space and holes by the Sonogashira coupling of tetrakis(4-ethynylphenyl)methane and 1,4-diiodobenzene and silica etching. The MONFs were adhesive to polyethylene terephthalate (PET) films due to their unique structural effects. Cu was loaded on the MONF/PET by electroless deposition. The Cu/MONF/PET showed excellent retention of conductivities in repeated severe bending.</P>

<P>Poly(ethylene terephthalate) fibers (PET-Fs) were coated with microporous organic networks (MONs) by the Sonogashira coupling of tetra(4-ethynylphenyl)methane with 1,4-diiodobenzene. Ni was deposited on the PET-F@ MON via electroless deposition. Interestingly, although Ni on the PET-F showed a sharp decrease in conductivity in repeated bending tests, the PET-F@MON@Ni showed excellent retention of conductivity. We suggest that thin MON layers play roles of an efficient binder for Ni attachment to fibers and a structural buffer for the relaxation of bending strain. The positive effect of MON was supported by scanning electron microscopy studies of the PET-F@Ni or PET-F@MON@Ni retrieved after 2000 bending numbers. Although Ni on the PET-F showed severe detachment after bending tests, PET-F@MON@Ni retained the original morphologies. The pouch cells of lithium-ion batteries fabricated using PET-F@MON@Ni as the current collectors showed excellent performance against bending.</P>

임베디드 장치나 모바일 같은 기기들은 자바 환경을 적용하기 위해 SUN사의 CLDC(Connected Limited Device Configuration)에서 정의하고 있는 KVM(K Virtual Machine)을 탑재하여 사용하게 된다. 자바의 GUI를 제공하기 위해서 CLDC는 MIDP(Mobile Information Device Profile)에서 명세하고 있는 GUI 표준 API를 사용하게 되는데, 이는 운영체제의 네이티브(Native) 함수와의 상호 연동에 의해 동작한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 실시간 운영체제인 UbiFOS™ 기반의 KVM GUI를 구현하는데 있어 그래픽 윈도우 시스템과 GUI API와의 상호 동작을 위한 네이티브 함수와 이벤트 처리에 대해 설계 및 구현한 내용을 기술한다.
A Study on Re-racking of Spent Fuel Pool in Kori Unit 2

The current storage capacity of the spent nuclear fuel at the Kori unit 2 has reached approximately 94% saturation, excluding emergency core capacity. As South Korea has not yet constructed any interim storage facilities to store spent nuclear fuel, one of possible options is to install high density storage racks in spent fuel pool at the reactor site to increase its capacity. The high density storage rack is a technology developed to allow the storage to have more spent nuclear fuel than originally planned, while still ensuring safety. It achieves this by reducing the storage gap between the spent nuclear fuel. The purpose of this study is to investigate an appropriate storage capacity for spent fuel pool in the Kori unit 2 and the factors to be considered during the high density storage rack installation. Given that the Kori unit 2 is planning continued operation and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) is preparing to install a temporary storage facility for spent nuclear fuel at the Kori nuclear site, it is reasonable to consider the installation of high density storage racks in the spent fuel pool as a storage solution for these issues. When evaluating the capacity of the spent fuel pool, the amount of spent nuclear fuel generated by other reactors in Kori nuclear site and the amount of spent nuclear fuel generated by continued operation of the Kori unit 2 should be taken into account. This study aims to consider these factors and evaluate the capacity of the spent fuel pool. Furthermore, when installing high density storage rack for the spent nuclear fuel, it should be noted that the existing storage racks at the Kori unit 2 are welded to the liner plate, which may require additional cutting work. Therefore, it is necessary to review the suitable method for the cutting work. Additionally, assuming that divers need to access the area near the storage racks or cutting & welding devices require radiation protection in the area, it is essential to analyze the expected radiation level with computational code and propose appropriate measures to limit work time or establish a work zone. Thus, this study evaluates appropriate capacity of spent fuel pool and work methods for the installation of high density storage rack in the spent fuel pool at the Kori unit 2. It is expected that this paper contributes to install high density storage racks in SFP safely.
임베디드 환경에서 KVM 의 성능 향상을 위한 가비지 컬랙션의 설계 및 구현

급속도로 IT 산업이 발전하면서, 리소스가 제한된 소형 기기들의 사용이 비약적으로 증가하는 추세이다. 자바는 플랫폼 독립성(Platform Independency), 보안성(Security), 이동성(Mobility) 등의 장점을 가지고 있기 때문에 성능을 극대화하고 안정된 서비스를 제공해야 하는 소형기기들에게 핵심 소프트웨어 플랫폼으로 많이 사용되고 있다. 임베디드 장치나 모바일 시스템과 같은 제한된 리소스를 사용하는 기기들은 자바 어플리케이션 수행을 위해 자바의 소프트웨어 플랫폼중의 하나인 K 가상 머신(K Virtual Machine: KVM)을 탑재하여 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 KVM 가비지 컬랙션의 지연 시간(Pause-Time)과 Tracing 의 수행 빈도수를 줄여 임베디드 환경에서 성능 향상을 위한 가비지 컬랙션을 설계하고 구현한 내용을 기술한다.
