The goal of this paper is to present an instantaneous compensating power flow of active power filter(APF) by graphical method that could be practicable to compensate the power in both case of behaving in an insontain asymmetric and harmonic components. Instantaneous power using p-q theory is analyzed to have compensation of reactive power, harmonics and asymmetry at the same time. In this paper, the limitation of p-q theory by using only shunt or series active filter is analyzed. A new scheme is proposed to solve the above issues.
Development of Eye Gaze Tracking as HAM-device

This paper presents results in the development of a light-weight, easily portable vision-based eye-gaze tracking device for use in Human Adaptive Mechatronics (HAM). HAM is defined as intelligent mechanical systems that adapt themselves to human skill under various environments, improve human skill, and assist the operation. Estimation of human skill and insight is one of the key points in HAM. Measurement of eye-gaze and its analysis are an effective approach for this aim. In this paper, we mention the development of a two stage pupil center locator based entirely on integer calculations for FPGA-realization of an eye-gaze tracking device.
