A Study of Social Network Content for Effective Content Displays

Recently, thanks to the development of IT technologies and the appearance of Social Networking Services (SNSs), much content has been created and managed on the Internet, including mobile. The contents of web sites are shared among those who are connected to each other or when people inform each other about good content through their comment recommendations and star ratings. However, There tends to be a lack of content choices to fit individual propensities, in favor of kinds of content that will be preferred by everybody. This study proposes effective content displays that rearrange social network content to fit individuals’ propensities. Although particular content items become generalized when they are shared by many users, it is possible to rearrange not only information about these items, but also information about their initial creators, participants (commenters), and relatedness to friends.

Recently, as the demand for unmanned and IT agricultural machinery increases, the development of autonomous lawn mowers has been actively conducted. However, since the prior robotic autonomous lawn mower works randomly without working path in work space, it has low efficiency for the large work space. In addition, for the localization, other autonomous agricultural machineries mostly have adopted Differential Global Positioning System(DGPS), which is largely expensive to commercialize. In this paper, we propose the autonomous driving algorithm through localization in work space using radar sensor which is relatively inexpensive. For localization of an autonomous lawn mower, an origin in the work space is set using the range and angle data of the landmarks which are installed on both sides of the workspace. And then, the position of an autonomous lawn mower with respect to the origin is estimated using relative range and angle between a mower and a landmark. The landmarks which are used to localization are identified through assigning track ID via radar sensor data of landmarks. Base on above localization method, working path is generated and control input for path following is calculated. It also includes a landmark tracking algorithm considering possibility to change the track ID of the radar sensor data. In experiment, the proposed method shows 95.23% working speed performance and 86.07% path following error (RMSE)compared with manual driving.

Thermal efficiency of a reheating furnace has been predicted by calculating radiation heat transfer to slabs and furnace wall. The entire furnace is divided into fourteen sub-zones and each sub-zone is assumed to have same temperature which represents average temperature of the sub-zone. The temperatures of medium and wall of each sub-zone are computed by taking heat balance. The radiation heat transfer is solved by the FVM radiation method and blocked?off method is applied to the treatment of the slabs inside which intensity has no meaning.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>This study investigates the safety integrity levels for an electric propulsion system based on a molten carbonate fuel cell in a liquefied hydrogen tanker. The electric propulsion system necessitates multiple electronic and electric elements; thus, the functional safety of the system should be considered. Additionally, a maritime fuel cell system is nonconventional propulsion machinery. This system should follow a risk-based ship design framework, and IEC 61511 is a suitable standard for evaluating the functional safety of the system. Hazardous operability studies provide basic information for determining the safety integrity. In this work, a safety layer matrix and calibrated risk graph are generated, and a layer of protection analysis is conducted for a molten carbonate fuel cell stack. Eight guidewords are used to describe accidental scenarios and compare the results of the three methods in an unbiased manner. The most severe consequences are fire and explosion caused by overflows or a control failure in the stack, and the safety integrity levels are mutually different.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> A maritime fuel cell system consumes the boil-off hydrogen gas in a LH<SUB>2</SUB> tanker. </LI> <LI> The functional safety of a fuel cell should be considered as SIL. </LI> <LI> HAZOP is the proper technique to address potential hazards in fuel cell stack. </LI> <LI> Even for identical risks, three SIL methods produce different results. </LI> <LI> IEC 61511 is useful for determining the SILs for a maritime fuel cell system. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
