The optical fiber sensor is a subject which has been attracted considerable attention in recent year. Especially, it is being developed for the detection and location of partial discharge in oil-filled transformers. In this paper, we propose and experimentally demonstrate directivity and sensitivity of a hollow cylindrical mandrel sensor. The sound source is a PZT actuator of hollow cylinder type. Several layers of the fiber laminated around the mandrel surface and experiments were performed on three axis modes. The experimental results can be applied to analyze detected signals optimally.
신경회로망과 Classifier를 이용한 부분방전패턴의 인식

In this work, two approaches were proposed for the recognition of partial discharge patterns. The first approach was neural network with backpropagation algorithm, and the second approach was angle calculation between two operator vectors. PD signals were detected using three electrode system: IEC(b), needle-plane and CIGRE method Ⅱ electrode system. Both of neural network and angle comparison method showed good recognition performance for the pattern similar to the trained patterns. And the number of operators to be used had a great influence on the recognition performance to the untrained patterns.

This paper introduces a fluorescent lamp model based on gas discharge phenomena. The fluorescent lamp discharge has been successfully modeled by employing the radial variation of particle density and considering driving circuit effects on the characteristics of discharge process. The electron energy distribution is assumed to have a Maxwellian. The electron mobility and the ambipolar diffusion coefficients are considered to vary with an electron energy rather than a simple uniform value. Energy states of mercury atom in the discharge process are regarded as six levels rather than simple 4 or 5 levels. These discharge processes have been accurately solved by numerically employing mixed the FDM and the 2nd Runge-Kutta method. We applied this model to analyzing real high frequency circuit. Effective Impedance Calculation of Gas Discharge Lamp

In this paper, an impedance calculating method is proposed from the attenuation coefficient and oscillation frequency of the voltage wave form without relationships among voltage, current, and power. Gas discharge is assumed to be a resistance and capacitance a parallel circuit, and the circuit equations are analyzed using Laplace transforms to obtain the values. The component values were calculated from an actual discharge system, and the validity was confirmed by using LTspice simulation.
The Comparison of Economical Efficiency of Indoor Light Sources

In this paper economical efficiency of light sources for interior lighting was compared. The raw data were collected in February 2013 at Orlando, Florida, USA. The compared light sources are incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, linear fluorescent lamps and LED lamps. The variables are average light output, prices, maintenance costs, lifetime of lamps and ballasts, average input power, and electricity charge. The results show that linear fluorescent lamps are the most economical light source among them.

The object of this paper is design and to make a high efficiency magnetic ballast for high pressure sodium lamp. The results show the efficiency is 10[%] up compared with standard ballast in best case.

The voltage and current of fluorescent lamp has been successfully calculated in the case of frequency variation. Energy states of mercury atom in the discharge process are regarded as six levels. These calculations have been accurately solved by numerically employing mixed the FDM and the 2nd Runge-Kutta method. 비교적 최근에 개발된 T5 형광 램프를 점등시키기 위한 전자식 안정기를 개발하였다. 램프는 110W의 정격을 갖고, 그 길이는 2300mm이다. 제작한 안정기는 우수한 기동특성을 보였으며 안정된 전기적, 광학적 특성을 얻을 수 있었다.

UV 램프 시스템은 산업, 환경분야에서 폭넓게 사용되고 있으며, 램프의 용량이 커지는 추세를 보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 출력이 보다 안정화되고, 대용량에 적합한 고효율 UV 램프 구동시스템를 개발하였다.

형광램프는 일정전력을 소비하는 경우, 전원주파수 1[kHz] 부근에서 전류는 최대값을, 램프전압은 최소값을 갖는 현상을 나타낸다. 본 논문에서는 원자레벨의 방전 모델식을 만들어 입자밀도와 전자온도의 변화를 수치해석을 이용하여 계산하고, 이를 이용하여 전원주파수에 따라 형광램프의 전류와 램프전압이 변화하는 현상을 이론적으로 설명하였다.
