Integrated Approach of Software Project Size Estimation
Brajesh Kumar Singh,Akash Punhani,A. K. Misra 보안공학연구지원센터(IJSEIA) 2016 International Journal of Software Engineering and Vol.10 No.2
In the past, some researchers have shown that using more than one technique can reduce the risk of trusting only one method. At present many estimators use function point input in estimations based on COCOMO. This research paper includes the use and explanations related to advantages of these two “public domain” costing methods and the proposal of an integrated single model for size estimation. The problem of language dependency is well addressed and the language-weighted function point is introduced as the solution domain. Research paper demonstrates that the use of backfiring conversion factors is inherently inaccurate as there is no effective relationship between SLOC and FP. The use of homogeneous data can provide the acceptable results as established. It is demonstrated and established that the combination of physical size and functional size using the LOC and function points can affect the productivity. Using weighted function points as the main input in a COCOMO-like power function enables the effect of the programming language which enables the model to be easily adapted to other development environments. Such estimates are of very high degree of accuracy.
Developing Relationship between Tax Structure, Pension Funds and Economic Growth in OECD Nations
Tarika Singh,Seema Mehta,Yogesh Tomar,Brajesh Srivastava 동아시아경상학회 2013 The East Asian Journal of Business Economics Vol.1 No.2
Purpose: The present study combines both tax structures and pension funds as the factors of economic importance and explores the impact of both (pension funds and tax rates) on the economic growth in context of OECD nations. Research Design, Data and Methodology: Last forty years data on these variables is taken for study purpose. A Sample size of thirty four nations which form the part of OECD nations was taken for study purpose. Results: Regression analysis (linear) was used to find out relationship between tax structure, Pension funds and economic growth. Conclusion: The results are important for nations increasing their expenditure for social contribution.

Twenty one isolates of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. psidii (Fop),causing a vascular wilt in guava (Psidium guajava L.), were collected from different agro-ecological regions of India. The pathogenicity test was performed in guava seedlings, where the Fop isolates were found to be highly pathogenic. All 21 isolates were confirmed as F. oxysporum f. sp. psidii by a newly developed, species-specific primer against the conserved regions of 28S rDNA and the intergenic spacer region. RAPD and PCR-RFLP were used for genotyping the isolates to determine their genetic relationships. Fifteen RAPD primers were tested, of which five primers produced prominent, polymorphic, and reproducible bands. RAPD yielded an average of 6.5 polymorphic bands per primer, with the amplified DNA fragments ranging from 200–2,000bp in size. A dendrogram constructed from these data indicated a 22–74% level of homology. In RFLP analysis, two major bands (350 and 220 bp) were commonly present in all isolates of F. oxysporum. These findings provide new insight for rapid, specific, and sensitive disease diagnosis. However, genotyping could be useful in strain-level discrimination of isolates from different agro-ecological regions of India.
