This paper proposes a novel solar tracking algorithm for improving of photovoltaic(PV) efficiency with tracking method. A novel solar tracking algorithm calculates the global latitude and longitude of earth with sun. Also, it considers the refraction of atmosphere, annual oscillation and perturbation of moon. Proposed algorithm is applied the PV generation unit with tracking method and observes the azimuth and altitude. Observed data compare to korea astronomy observatory and conventional position solar algorithm(PSA) data and analyzes the accuracy. Therefore, the validity of this paper proves by analyzed data.

The paper is proposed maximum torque control of SynRM drive using hybrid intelligent(HI)PI and artificial neural network(ANN). The control method is applicable over the entire speed range and considered the limits of the inverter's current and voltage rated value. For each control mode, a condition that determines the optimal d, q axis current i<SUB>ds</SUB>, i<SUB>qs</SUB> for maximum torque operation is derived. The proposed control algorithm is applied to SynRM drive system controlled HIPI and ANN controller, the operating characteristics controlled by maximum torque control are examined in detail.

This paper proposes drying system using NN-PI control. The drying method that is applied in industry is mainly used hot air drying method which is circulated heated air by generating heat from thermal source. But these methods have problems such as decreasing drying efficiency and waste of energy by low thermal efficiency. Therefore, this paper proposes high efficiency hybrid drying system using near infrared ray(NIR) drying method using halogen lamp and hot air drying method. And PI controller with fixed gain is not well operated in verity operating condition. Therefore, this paper proposes NN-PI controller that is adjusted gain by operating condition. This paper proves validity of proposed drying system through experiment about thermal and humidity of drying system inside.

This paper proposes novel method for anti-islanding of grid-connected photovoltaic system. The proposed anti-islanding method in this paper can easily judge using virtual resister that amplified generating signal by islanding operating. The proposed algorithm in this paper is applied to grid-connected inverter and validity of this paper proves through performance analysis.

In this paper a novel tracking system is described, regarding the influence of shadow between array, aimed at improving the efficiency of PV tracking system. The loss by influence of those shadow can be compensated for by means of control algorithm of the tracking device. The paper suggests a method controlling an altitude for length which is received the shadow influence of PV array. By using an azimuth of current solar position and the length between arrays, the controller of tracking device is able to calculate the length between actual arrays and make a comparison of the shadow length at a specific time with the length between arrays. In the paper, we develop the control algorithm able to minimize the loss caused by the influence of shadow on the PV tracking system, and compared this with conventional output system. The controller has been tested in the laboratory with proposed algorithm and shows excellent performance.

The control method is applicable over the entire speed range and considered the limits of the inverter’s current and voltage rated value. For each control mode, a condition that determines the optimal d, q axis current ds qs i<SUB>ds</SUB>, i<SUB>qs</SUB> for maximum torque operation is derived. The proposed control algorithm is applied to induction motor drive system controlled adaptive learning neuro fuzzy controller and ANN controller, the operating characteristics controlled by maximum torque control are examined in detail. Also, this paper is proposed the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the adaptive learning neuro fuzzy controller and ANN controller.

This paper proposes efficiency optimization control of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) drive using multi adaptive fuzzy learning controller(AFLC). In order to optimize the efficiency the loss minimization algorithm is developed based on motor model and operating condition. The controllable electrical loss which consists of the copper loss and the iron loss can be minimized by the optimal control of the armature current. The minimization of loss is possible to realize efficiency optimization control for the proposed IPMSM The optimal current can be decided according to the operating speed and the load conditions. This paper considers the design and implementation of novel technique of high performance speed control for IPMSM using multi-AFLC. The proposed control algorithm is applied to IPMSM drive system controlled AFLC, the operating characteristics controlled by efficiency optimization control are examined in detail.

This paper presents a maximum power point tracking(MPPT) of photovoltaic system with duty ratio of DC-DC converter considered load. A variation of solar irradiation is roost important factor in the MPPT of PV system. That is nonlinear, aperiodic and complicated. NN was widely used due to easily solving a complex math problem. The paper consists of solar radiation source, DC-DC converter, DC motor and load(cf, pump). NN algorithm apply to DC-DC converter through an adaptive control of neural network, calculates converter-duty ratio using an adaptive control of NN. The results of an adaptive control of NN compared with the results of converter-duty ratio which are calculated mathematical modeling and evaluate the proposed algorithm. The experimental data show that an adequacy of the algorithm was established through the compared data.

This paper proposed design and development the maximum power point tracking(MPPT) control of a photo voltaic (PV) array for interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM)drive. Conventional MPPT controller was unstable by reason of the ripple-current of DC link in three phase inverter. Thus in this paper the control algorithm of IPMSM using i<SUB>q</SUB> current is composed to improve the insecurity of conventional MPPT controller. Proposed algorithm is operated by simulation with variation radiation condition. And analyze the response characteristic of IPMSM. The validity of this paper is proved by analyzed data.
