      • The Effect of Diisononyl Phthalate and Astaxanthin on Asthma

        First study, Diisononyl phthalate (DINP), a member of the phthalate family, is used to plasticize polyvinyl chloride (PVC). This chemical is known to enhance airway inflammation in the OVA-induced asthma model (adjuvant effects) and aggravate allergic dermatitis. Moreover, DINP enhances the production of interleukin-4 in activated CD4+ T cells. However, the effect of DINP itself on the differentiation of naïve CD4+ T cells into T helper cells (Th1/Th2) in vitro and allergic asthma in vivo has not yet been studied. In this study, DINP was shown to suppress the polarization of Th1 and enhance the polarization of Th2 from naïve CD4+ T cells in vitro. Also, DINP induced allergic asthma via the production of IL-4, IL-5, IgE and IgG1 and the reduction of IFN-g and IgG2a. Finally, I confirmed that exposure to DINP induces the infiltration of inflammatory cells and PAS positive cells and increases the expression of caspase-1 and caspase-3 in asthmatic mice. In conclusion, I suggest that DINP as an environmental pollutant or endocrine disruptor (ECD) induces asthma via the modulation of the Th1/Th2 equilibrium and production of Th2 mediated cytokines and immunoglobulin. Second study, Although astaxanthin has a variety of biological activities such as anti- oxidant effects, inhibitory effects on skin deterioration and anti-inflammatory effects, its effect on asthma has not been studied. In this paper, the inhibitory effect of astaxanthin on airway inflammation in a mouse model of ovalbumin (OVA)-induced asthma was investigated. I evaluated the number of total cells, Th1/2 mediated inflammatory cytokines in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and airway hyperresponsiveness as well as histological structure. The level of total IgE, IgG1, IgG2a, OVA-specific IgG1, and OVA-specific IgG2a were also examined. The oral administration of 50 mg/mL astaxanthin inhibited the respiratory system resistance, elastance, newtonian resistance, tissue damping, and tissue elastance. Also, astaxanthin suppressed the total cell number, IL-4, and IL-5, and increased the IFN-gamma in the BALF. In the sera, total IgE, IgG1, and OVA-specific IgG1 were reduced by astaxanthin exposure and IgG2a and OVA-specific IgG2a were enhanced via oral administration of astaxanthin. Infiltration of inflammatory cells in the lung, production of mucus, lung fibrosis, and expression of caspase-1 or caspase-3 were suppressed in OVA- induced asthmatic animal treated with astaxanthin. These results suggest that astaxanthin may have therapeutic potential for treating asthma via inhibiting Th2-mediated cytokine and enhancing Th1-mediated cytokine.

        K-POP댄스수업이 초등학생의 사회성에 미치는 영향 본 연구는 K-POP댄스수업이 초등학생들의 사회성에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구함으로써 K-POP댄스수업을 이용한 초등학생들이 건강하고 바르게 클 수 있도록 지도의 방향을 설정하고 K-POP수업의 활성화에 기여할 수 있는 자료를 만드는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 이와 같은 목적에 맞추어 설정한 연구문제는 아래와 같다. 1. K-POP댄스수업의 참여한 학생의 성별에 따라 사회성은 어떠한 차이를 보이는 가? 2. K-POP댄스수업에 참여한 학생의 학년에 따라 사회성은 어떠한 차이를 보이는 가? 3. K-POP댄스수업에 참여빈도에 따라 학생의 사회성은 어떠한 차이를 보이는가? 4. K-POP댄스 수업의 참여한 학생과 비참여학생간의 사회성에 어떠한 차이가 있 는가? 본 연구의 대상은 서울특별시 강동구에 있는 초등학교3-6학년의 학생을 대상으로 하였으며, 연구방법으로는 설문지법을 사용하였다. 자료의 처리는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 통계처리를 하였으며, 독립표본 t검증, 빈도분석, 그리고 일원배치 분산분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. K-POP댄스수업의 참여한 학생의 중 남학생이 여학생 보다 성취감요인에서 결 과가 더 높았으며, 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 2. K-POP댄스수업을 참여한 학생들의 학년에 따른 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없 었다. 3. K-POP댄스수업을 참여한 학생들 중 6개월에서 9개월 동안 수업에 참여한 학생들 보다 9개월과 1년 이상 참여한 학생들이 책임감요인에서 결과가 더 높 았으며, 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 보였다. 4. K-POP댄스수업을 참여한 학생과 비참여학생간의 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 따라서, K-POP댄스수업은 초등학생의 사회성에 제한적이지만 긍정적인 효과를 주고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 차후 K-POP댄스수업을 체육수업 및 교육활동영역에 활용할 수 있는 교육학적 연구가 필요하다. This study is to examine the influence of K-POP dance class on the sociality of elementary school students and set the educational direction of the K-POP class for elementary school students when implementing K-POP dance into their physical education class. According to the research goals, the research guestions are as follows: 1. How does the gender of the students who participate in K-POP dance class influence on the sociality? 2. How does the grade of the students who participate in K-POP dance class influence on the sociality? 3. How does the frequency of participation in K-POP dance class influence on the sociality of the students who participate in it? 4. What is the difference on the sociality between the students who participate in K-POP dance class and the students who do not participate in it? The subjects of this study were the elementary school students in grades from 3 to 6 in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. Questionnaire was used as the research method. The data was statistically processed by SPSS 20.0 program and the independent sample t test, the frequency analysis, and one-way ANOVA with posthoc Scheffe’s test were carried out. The results obtained through the above process are as follows. 1. Among the students who participated in K-POP dance class, male students showed higher sense of accomplishment than female students and it showed a statistically significant difference. 2. There was no significant difference statistically according to the grade of the students who participated in K-POP dance class. 3. Among the students who participated in K-POP dance class, the students who participated in the class for more than 6 months up to 9 months showed higher sense of responsibility than the students who participated in the class for more than 9 months up to 1 year and it showed a statistically significant difference. 4. There was no significant difference statistically between the students who participate in K-POP dance class and the students who did not participate in it. As a result, K-POP dance class has positive but limited influences on sociality of elementary school students, According to the results of this study, pedagogical researches are needed to utilize K-POP dance class in physical education classes as well as in the broader area of educational activities.

      • 교육대학원 건설교육전공 교과과정에 관한 연구

        현대 사회는 고도의 산업 사회화와 지식화, 정보화와 다양화를 향하여 발전하는 사회이다. 우리 나라의 교육이 이에 대응한 고급 인력 양성과 새로운 첨단 과학 기술 분야에서의 경쟁 추세에서 낙후되지 않고 선도적 위치를 유지해 나가기 위해서는 학교에서 인력양성과 교육을 직접 담당하고 있는 교사의 질이 사회의 질을 결정하는 가장 중요한 요소 중 하나라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 고등교육의 육성에 있어서 특수대학원의 일종으로서의 교육대학원은 실로 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다 하겠다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 교육대학원 건설교육전공을 설치한 6개 교육 대학원을 중심으로 설립의 기준이 되는 목적을 조사 비교하였으며, 교육 대학원의 기능과 역사적인 발달과정을 알아보고 교육대학원 건설교육의 교과과정에 있어서 바람직한 개선 방안을 모색해 보았다. 이러한 조사를 토대로 각 교육대학원별 학사운영 실태를 파악하고 설정 교과목을 분석하여 건설교육의 일반적 흐름과 과정의 특성, 그리고 교과목과 학점의 비교·분석 및 중등 공업계 전문교과과정과의 비교·분석을 통하여 교육대학원 건설교육전공 교과과정이 어떠한 방향으로 나아가는 것이 보다 미래지향적인가에 대한 제언을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육대학원의 목적 및 성격규정에 대한 별도의 법적 조거가 마련되어 있지 않아 대학원 교육의 비효율성을 초래하므로 이에 대한 법적 근거 마련이 시급하다. 둘째, 교과과목 편제가 지나치게 세분화되어 전문성을 강조하기 보다는 복잡해 보였으며, 많은 교과목을 편제하고서도 학기당 학점을 초과해서 이수 할 수 없는 법규 때문에 획일적이고 폐쇄적인 운영상의 문제점이라 지적할 수 있다. 셋째, 교육대학원의 특징을 살릴 수 있는 교과교육학 과목의 개발을 위해 다각적인 연구가 필요하다 하겠다. 건설교사 내지는 건설교육전문가를 양성하는 전문기관으로서 교육현장의 문제점 발견 및 해결방안 제시, 새로운 지도방법 개발, 교사의 기능향상을 위한 방향으로 교과과정이 편성·운영되도록 개방적이고 지속적인 노력을 보여주어야 하겠다. 넷째, 중등공업계의 현장교육 위주의 실제문제 해결능력 함양을 목적으로 하는 교과목 개설이 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 따라서 건설교육의 전공과목에 있어서 실험·실습분야도 함께 발전할 수 있도록 교육대학원이 보다 많은 관심을 가질 수 있도록 편성·운영되도록 노력을 보여주어야 하겠다. 본 연구 결과 교육대학원의 특성에 맞는 건설교육을 통해 보다 효과적인 교육을 이룩할 수 있듯이 교육대학원별 특성을 최대한 고려한 건설교육 교과과정을 수립하는 것이 필요하다. Modern society is developing towards a highly advanced industrial and knowledge based society, as well as information society and diversification. In order to keep the competitive leading status of Korean education for high quality human powers and scientific technologies, the quality of teachers, who are responsible for cultivating human forces and education, is one of the most important factors, which determines the quality of a society. The special purpose of graduate schools does an important role in promoting these high-class educations. In this aspect, the basis of establishing graduate schools were investigated and compared, focusing on 6 educational graduate schools, which have constructional education curriculums. The functions and historical development of these educational graduate schools were surveyed, and methods for improving these curriculums were studied. Based on this investigation, the present status of each educational school and its curriculum were analyzed, and curriculum subjects were compared to compare and analyze the general tendency and curriculum features of constructional education, and to suggest the future direction of constructional educations. The results of this research are outlined below. Firstly, legal basis was necessary because there is an inefficiency and the purpose, and characters of educational graduate schools were not supported by legal basis. Secondly, the curriculum was too detailed to focus on any specialty. The legal regulation, which did not permit additional subjects exceeding a fixed number of credit hours for each semester induced a standardized and closed operation. Thirdly, it was necessary to do a variety of research to develop curriculum for pedagogies. As a special organization to cultivate educational experts in construction, there should be open and continuous efforts to make and operate curriculum to discover deficiencies and their solutions, to develop new tutoring methods, and to elevate the functionality of teachers. Fourthly, there was no subject to elevate the problem solving capacity focusing on field education in middle class industrial fields. Therefore, the educational graduate schools had better try to establish and operate to develop experiments and exercises as major subjects of constructional education. As more efficient education was possible via constructional education proper to the features of educational graduate schools, it was necessary to establish curriculums for constructional education, considering the features of each educational school.

      • 중학교 의무교육실행에 따른 사립중학교 전환유형에 관한 연구

        The problems a private school faces should be settled before the enforcement of the compulsory education for middle school. But, though the private middle school is given more weight, any realizable and long-term countermeasure has never got ready. Consequently, on the ground of such a necessity, the object of this study is to investigate an all-out counterplan and an efficient operation-plan prior to the execution of the compulsory education for middle schools. Through the analysis of the previous study, related materials, a theoretical background about the compulsory education for private middle school, the present situation, and the actual conditions of private middle schools, both the compulsory education for private middle schools and its conversion-type are studied. An annual report of educational statistics in education authorities and in Pusan, the statement of accounts that the Pusan Board of Education receives from each school, are used. Consultations about the actual conditions of private middle and high schools, and means of settlement are presented. Forcible demands of too much public interests to private schools, and destruction of independence and characteristics become big issues. Educational facilities of private schools are not well-equipped considering public schools. In the original property of private schools, immovables with poor benefit is given more weight. So most operation-expense largely depends on tuition. The students entering private schools by draw are considerably disadvantaged. As their ideas and establishment-objects in the private schools are various, the Government authority must not interfere in a private school that is independently governed with its characteristics. For redressing public and private school's unbalance caused by schooling unpreparedness, the Government should sufficiently assist poor private schools. To solve financial difficulties of private schools, the Government must balance profit and loss of donations between public and private schools, revise a present system of taxation like a defense tax and a transfer income tax, and allow private schools converted to junior colleges or high schools. When teachers getting high salary in private schools get trarsferred to public schools by the revision of teachers' personnel administration, private schools can save its personnel expenses. Not only simple level transference, but also perpendicular one of education professionals and school inspectors must be actively realized. The Government should take over private schools that their foundation cannot support them any more. The undertaking is made by donation and nonpayment. Educational foundation disposes of live assets. The Government should undertake educational facilities after enough compensation of studying materials are donated. This main study is to grope for suitable conversion-type in due consideration of private shool-circumstances, and teachers' quality, rather than uniform conversion-type, promoting characteristics and independence of private schools. Further study on these fields seems to be strongly needed.
