        Seoul Metro has been constructing the screen doors on the platforms to provide safe and comfort environments. The screen doors of each station are configured so that they can be operated in automatic mode in connection with ATC/ATO through the integrated control panel in the station control room and in manual mode through the control panel of the station control room and crew control panel. These systems have been implemented with different data communication protocols between systems, HMI configuration, and so on due to ordering processes, implementation time and diverse suppliers, and manufactured to be operated within single station. Seoul Metro has been planning to implement the integrated control system to secure seamless train operation and safety and to have a fast response system against emergency situations such as PSD failure and fire, by implementing the system that is able to collectively manage, monitor and control the operation status and equipment conditions of PSD on to the integrated control center. This paper has studied a scheme to reduce the budget for the future facility constructions by standardizing the data format for data communication with the integrated station control panel and using the open standard protocols, in order to secure consistency of operation, system expansion and maintenance with unified and standardized control items.

      • 2.4㎓ 무선 통신을 이용한 PSD 인터페이스 개선에 관한 연구

        To operate Platform Screen Door (PSD) automatically, the operational data of PSD and the train must be interfaced properly. PSD and train are operated together by the signaling system in Automatic Train Operation (ATO) signaling system zone where interfaces are provided between PSD and train. However, the additional PSD interface system with train is required in train operating zone without the interface between PSD and train. For the PSD interface, the wireless communication system or the train status (train correct stop status / train door status) detection system has been used. Seoul Metro line No.2. has the PSD wireless communication system using 447㎒ band RF. For the safety of PSD operation, it is required to prevent RF interference in the subway environment where many frequencies exist. In this paper, the PSD wireless communication system is developed using 2.4㎓ band RF to prevent the interference of the wireless communication and increase the traffic of the PSD interface. Furthermore, the improved system can store, manage and display the PSD and train operational data using Human Machine Interface (HMI) in the train"s driver cab.

      • DC 급전계통의 디지털 보호계전기의 합리적 운용방안 검토

        최근 서울메트로 1,2호선 변전설비는 장기 사용한 부분부터 년차적으로 설비를 교체하고 있다. DC 급전계통 보호계전기도 76I, 50, 85, 64P 4개정도에 불과했으나 76I, 76D, DDL-I, DDL-T(Imin), 85, 64P등 다양한 종류의 디지털 보호계전기로 세분화되었으며, 각종 이벤트 및 사고파형 등을 기록?저장하여 모든 동작사항을 검토 · 분석할 수 있도록 기능이 다양화 되어있다. 그러나 보호설비를 본래 보호목적에 맞게 사용하지 못하여 장애가 확대된 사례가 있어 본 논문에서는 보호계전기 종류별 보호목적, 방향, 설정치 등을 검토하여 향후 DC차단기 보호계전기 운영에 활용함으로서 사고확대를 방지하고, 직류 보호계전시스템 운영에 있어 합리적인 방법을 제시하고자 한다. Lately, Seoul metro is changing transformation facilities which have been operated in subway line 1 and 2 for a long duration of time. Although the exiting protection relays in DC feeder system have such several functions as 76I, 50, 85, and 64P, the new protective relay have a great variety of functions such as 76I, 76D, DDL-I, DDL-T(Imin), 85, and 64P, as well as record and save various events and accident wave in order to review and analyze the working causes of the protective system. However, because the new digital relays are not used properly for protective propose, there are the cases that the electric accident is deteriorated more. Therefore, in this paper, we will describe that making the use studying installation intention, direction, and setting up value of the protection relay in DC breaker operation not only prevents from making the electric accident worse but also shows the efficient operation method of direct current protection system.

        The electricity is the key essence of electric rail, which can be compared to blood vessel in the human body a variety of facilities have been installed for a safety of citizens such as fire-fighting equipment, platform screen doors and giving high level of benefits such as air-conditioning and heating equipment, escalators, lighting apparatus. In order to operate these facilities appropriately, it is needless to say that electric power supply must be reliable. Many protection relays have been installed to protect electric apparatus and power system, nevertheless the study has been insufficient in the concrete. from this paper, through analyzing of protection relay system of electric room operated in line 2 of Seoul metro, we can help to improve stable power supply system of subway station. for the stable supply of electric power, once setting value of no.1 & 2 line is fixed and the current of CT secondary can be changed through internal contacts line of Link VCB automatically
