식물의 다양한 효능이 과학적으로 새롭게 조명되고 있는 시점에서 실내식물이 녹색성장을 위한 실내 디자인에 필수적 재료임을 생각해 볼 때 단순히 아름답기만 한 실내정원, 또는 단순히 효능이 있기만 한 실내정원이 아니라, 효능이 있다는 재료를 과학적 디자인과 심오한 철학을 바탕으로 정교하게 계획된 디자인은 원예학의 산업적 측면에 기여하고 환경과 인간에 기여하는 바가 커질 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 관상식물을 소재로 한 실내 화훼조형물을 다양한 현대 이론에 기초를 두고 설계하여서 총 6점의 작품을 제작하였다. 화훼조형은 식물을 소재로 다양한 방법으로 연출하는 환경 친화적 예술행위이다. 따라서 화훼조형을 위한 주소재인 식물의 디자인적 적용, 작품별로 대체이용 가능한 식물의 교환, 유지보존 및 관리방안 등을 모색하여 폭넓은 실내식물을 이용한 다양한 화훼조형물의 개발이 요구되었다. Diverse Functions of house plants, essential materials for green growth, are being proved scientifically. The present society needs something more than just beautiful gardens. Indoor ornamental designs planned elaborately, based on profound philosophy, with plant is an effect and the material could contribute to horticultural industry and to human environments greatly. This study was conducted to develop 6 floral formatives as objects of art, designed with diverse modern theories, using ornamental plants. Floral formative is an environmentally friendly art, displayed in diverse ways, using plants as major materials. Application of ornamental plants to designs, timely replacement of ornamental plant species, maintenance and management need to be studied to develop diverse floral formatives with more wide choices of ornamental plants.
