N/A Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate a family education program on the family burden of the patients with Stroke. Method: This study employed a quasi-experimental one group pre-post test to evaluate the program. The subjects of this study were 36 family caregiver selected by convenience sampling who having stroke patients. Data collection was done using questionnaires before and after the subjects used the program. Results: The results of this study showed that the family burden decreased after used the program(P<.05). Also in subcategories, the physical, social, emotional, and time -dependent burden decreased after used the program(P<.05). There were significance positive correlation between family burden and the degree of paralysis of the patient. Also the results showed that the negative correlation between family burden and the daily living of the patient. Conclusion: The study shows that the family education program have effect on decreasing the family burden of the Stoke patients.

현재 코로나19 환자를 돌보는 보건의료인력은 과중한 스트레스를 경험하고 있다. 이는 보건의료인력 자신이 개인적으로 경험하는 스트레스 뿐 아니라, 확진된 환자를 돌보면서 겪는 경험에 의해 가중되고 있다. 이에 코로나19와 관련된 보건의료인력의 스트레스 유형을 확인하고 관리가 필요한 시점으로, 문헌을 통해 코로나19 환자를 돌보는 보건의료인력의 스트레스 관리 중재를 찾고자 하였다. 2020∼2022년 사이에 출간된 국내/외 연구 5편을 고찰한 결과, 온라인 앱을 통한 인지행동요법, 음악요법, 정서자유기법, 안전기반 집단프로그램 등이 보고되었다. 이들 중재는 코로나19와 관련해 우울, 불안, 외상후 스트레스, 소진, 불면 등을 경험하는 보건의료인력의 스트레스 관리에 유효한 것으로 나타났다. Stress and its management among health professionals during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is a social issue. Stress in health professionals is caused not only by personal events but also by managing patients with COVID-19. The present study aimed to find effective interventions for managing stress related to COVID-19 among health professionals. As a result of a literature search, there were five studies related to interventions for managing stress related to COVID-19 among health professionals between 2020 and 2022. These interventions included mobile phone-based cognitive behavior therapy, music therapy, emotional freedom techniques, and safety group programs for stress management. These interventions were identified as being effective in managing stress related to COVID-19 among health professionals.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify sleep quality, job stress, symptoms of stress (SOS), and coping and to examine factors influencing sleep quality in clinical nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 265 clinical nurses at three general hospitals. A self-administrated questionnaire was used for data collection, and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Pearson correlation coefficients, t-test, ANOVA, and backward multiple regression with the SAS statistical program. Results: Sleep quality showed significant differences according to the sociodemographic characteristics of age, length of work, education, current workplace, current job position, shift work, and marital status. Sleep quality was negatively associated with SOS and job stress. Significant factors influencing sleep quality of the clinical nurses were cognitive-behavioral SOS, physiological SOS, inappropriate rewards, physical work environment, and shift work. Conclusion: The findings indicate that cognitive-behavioral SOS, physiological SOS, job stress regarding inappropriate rewards and physical work environment, and shift work are useful to predict levels of sleep quality of clinical nurses. These factors should be considered when developing nursing interventions to improve sleep quality of clinical nurses through stress management.

N/A Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship quality of life and health promoting behavior among hospital staff nurses. Method: Data were collected by questionnaires from 249 hospital staff nurses in General Hospital. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The score of quality of life showed significantly positive correlation with the score of health promoting behavior, social support, coping behavior, and hardiness. The quality of life showed significantly negative correlation with the score of burnout. The most powerful predictor of quality of life was burnout and the variance explained was 15%. A combination of burnout, health promoting behavior, coping behavior, self efficacy, and hardiness account for 33% of the variance in quality of life among hospital staff nurses. Conclusion: This study suggest that burnout, health promoting behavior, coping behavior, self efficacy, hardiness, and social support are significantly influencing factors on quality of life among hospital staff nurses.
임상간호사의 스트레스 관련 기질, 소진감, 강인성이 직무만족에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 임상간호사의 스트레스 관련 기질, 소진감, 강인성, 직무만족 정도를 확인하고 스트레스 관련 기질, 소진감, 강인성과 직무만족의 상관관계를 규명하고자 한 서술적 상관관계연구이다. 대상자는 서울시 소재의 대학병원 2곳과 경기 지역 소재의 대학병원 1곳에서 본 연구에 참여를 허락한 간호사 250명이었다. 자료 수집은 2009년 11월 13에서 12월 24일까지 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 상관관계분석과 이용하여 단계적 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과 임상간호사의 교육정도, 결혼상태, 종교, 지위, 근무 장소에 따라 스트레스 관련 기질, 소진감, 강인성, 직무만족도는 유의한 차이를 보였다. 스트레스 저항 기질은 소진감, 직무만족도와 유의한 수준의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 강인성은 간호사의 소진감과 소진감은 강인성, 직무만족도와 유의한 수준의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 회귀분석 결과 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 요인은 소진감, 강인성, 스트레스 저항 성격 특성순으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 임상간호사의 직무만족은 스트레스 저항 기질, 소진감, 강인성과 높은 상관성을 보였으며 특히 이 세 변수는 임상간호사의 직무만족 영향을 미치는 유의한 예측요인으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 병원과 간호조직 관리자는 이러한 사실을 인식하고 간호사의 직무만족 향상을 위해 다양한 중재를 제공할 것을 시사해주고 있다. The purpose of the study was to investigate stress-related personality traits, hardiness, and burnout on job satisfaction in nurse. The study included 250 nurses working in 3 university hospitals in Seoul and Kyunggi provinces. The data were collected from 13, November, 2009 to 24th November, 2009. It was analyzed with descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation of SPSS and with multiple stepwise regression. The results are as follows. They were significant differences in stress resistant personality trait, hardiness, burnout, and job satisfaction by education, marital status, religion, position, field. There was found significant and positive correlation among stress resistant personality trait and job satisfaction; significant and negative correlation among stress resistant personality trait and burnout; significant and negative correlation among burnout and hardiness, job satisfaction. Regression analysis, burnout, hardiness, stress-related personality traits order influenced job satisfaction. Stress-related personality traits, hardiness, and burnout were significant predictors of job satisfaction. Stress-related personality traits, hardiness, and burnout is an important factor of job satisfaction in nurse, and significant correlations between their relationships. The results suggest that hospital and nursing managers must recognize these facts and provide various intervention to improving the job satisfaction in nurse. (Korean J Str Res 2011;19:79∼87)
