A shape optimization has been conducted to improve the aerodynamic performance of a turbo-fan using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with the mesh-morphing method and various optimization algorithms. Configurations of the baseline fan geometries were generated using the conventional fan-design theory based on the inviscid flow and infinite blade assumptions. The performance of the turbo-fans were analyzed numerically using two dimensional CFD with Moving Reference Frame (MRF). To find the optimized shape of the turbo-fan’s blade, the shape of the baseline was changed repeatedly with optimization algorithms. The mesh-morphing method was used to re-generate the computational grid during the optimization. For the objective functions, various forms of the fan efficiency were considered. For the final optimized shape of the blade, a three-dimensional geometry was constructed for accurate prediction of the fan performance. The resulting shape and corresponding aerodynamic performances of the fan are summarized both quantitatively and qualitatively.
TPR 트리의 예측 궤적을 사용한 자유 이동 객체 충돌의 예측 탐지 알고리즘

The existing methods of calculating the spatiotemporal overlapping for predicting future collision detection of moving objects are not realistic because of the large amount of computation. When the number of moving objects increases, this paper proposes a method of using a spatiotemporal index for detecting future overlapping after filtering pairs of proximity moving objects. A spatiotemporal index is not constructed for filtering processing on the proximity of moving objects. By constructing a TPR-tree for the filtered proximity candidate moving objects, future collision detection is predicted through overlapping query processing. It also uses trajectory filtering to reduce the number of vessel target candidates that need to be indexed. The contribution of this paper is to improve the performance of algorithms for predicting future collisions in real time for numerous moving objects of different speeds and positions. The experimental results of the proposed method show an improvement of about 60% compared to the existing SAT-based one-dimensional projection method. 이동 객체들의 미래 충돌 탐지를 예측하기 위한 시공간 적인 겹침을 계산하는 방법은 계산양이 크기 때문에 현실적이지 못하다. 이 논문은 이동 객체들의 숫자가 증가할 때 근접하는 객체들의 쌍을 여과한 후에 미래 겹침을 시공간 색인을 사용하는 방법을 제안한다. 이동 객체들의 근접 위치에 대한 여과 처리를 위하여 시공간 색인을 구성하지 않는다. 여과된 근접 후보 대상 이동 객체들에 대하여 TPR-트리를 구성하여 겹침 질의 처리를 통해 미래 충돌 탐지를 예측한다. 또한 궤적 필터링을 사용하여 인덱싱해야 하는 이동 객체 대상 후보 수를 줄인다. 이 논문의 기여는 속도와 위치가 다른 수 많은 이동 객체들에 대하여 실시간으로 미래의 충돌을 예측하는 알고리즘의 성능 개선이다. 이 논문의 방법의 실험 결과는 기존의 SAT 기반 1차원 프로젝션 겹침 계산 방법에 비해 약 60% 향상되는 것을 보여주고 있다.
Draft genome sequence of Glaciihabitans arcticus RP-3-7 T isolated from Arctic soil

Glaciihabitans arcticus RP-3-7 T was originally isolated from soil of the Arctic region in Cambridge Bay, NU, Canada. In this study, we report the draft genome sequence of a bacterium Glaciihabitans arcticus RP-3-7 T obtained using the Illumina HiSeq platform. The genome comprised of 3,172,742 bp with the G + C content of 66.9%, the genome included 3,068 genes among them, 2,984 genes are protein-coding genes.
Draft genome sequence of Flavobacterium silvisoli RD-2-33 T isolated from forest soil

Flavobacterium silvisoli was isolated from Kyonggi University forest soil during the study of bacterial diversity. In this study, we report the draft genome sequence of a bacterium Flavobacterium silvisoli RD-2-33 T (= KACC 21178 T = NBRC 113789 T ) obtained using the Illumina MiSeq platform. The genome comprised of 2,894,048 bp with the G + C content of 38.6%, the genome included 2,612 genes among them, 2,543 genes are proteincoding genes.
