        The purpose of this study was to investigate Competitive anxiety level change depending on skill level. For this purpose, Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2(CSAI-2) was used, which contains three subscales such as Cognitive Anxiety, Somatic State Anxiety and Self-confidence. All responses were measured before 1 week, 2 days, 2 hours, 30 minutes prior to the competition. Subjects for this study were total 238 middle school tennis players who attended the 58th Korea Student Tennis Tournament Results are as follows. 1. There were significant statistical differences between male and female in cognitive anxiety and the level of the self-confidence according to the sex. but not in somatic state anxiety. But female players were higher than males in Anxiety. 2. There were no significant statistical differences according to the skill level in cognitive anxiety, but elite players were higher than non-elites in all subscales. 3. According to the measure times, there were significant differences in all subscales. With the approach of the event, Cognitive anxiety and somatic state anxiety were growing higher, but on the other hand, Self-confidence were growing lower. According to the above results, this study as previous studies advocates that Competitive Anxiety is multi - dimensional. In this study, in the low level of competitive anxiety, there were significant statistical differences in the level of cognitive anxiety and the factor of self-confidence between male and female. But not in somatic state anxiety. Also, there were no significant statistical difference in the skill level between elite players and non-elites. But the anxiety level in each group was lower than over high school players. There fore, if cognitive anxiety and somatic state anxiety were growing lower and self-confidence was growing higher, the competition power will be able to be increased.

      • 여고생의 과외자율 체육활동과 정신건강과의 관계 연구

        본 연구는 과외자율 체육활동을 하는 인천광역시 여고생 91명과 운동을 하지 않는 여고생 88명을 대상으로 정신건강을 비교 규명하여 운동의 정신건강학적 가치를 조명해 봄과 동시에 운동의 중요성에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 과외자율 체육활동을 1년이상, 일주일에 운동참여 평균 3일이상 · 하루 40분 이상 운동을 한 여고생을 참여자로 하였으며. 1년 동안 타운동을 포함하여 운동에 참여하지 않은 여고생을 비참여자로 하였다. 간이정신진단 검사지로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 그 자료를 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 1) 과외자율 체육활동 참여자와 비참여자의 정신건강 9개의 증상차원에 대하여 불안증에서는 유의한차가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 2) 신체화, 강박증, 대인민감증, 우울증, 적대감, 공포불안, 편집증, 정신증에서 통계적으로 유의한 차가 있는 것으로 나타났다(P<0.05). 3) 과외자율 체육활동 참여자 평균이 비참여자 평균보다 낮게 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 전술한 연구 목적에서의 의도와 같이 참여자와 비참여자의 정신건강과의 관계를 규명하고자한 의도에 전적으로 부합된다는 점을 보여주는 것이라고 본다. he aim of this study is to supply the basic materials about importance of exercise and examine the value of mental health for exercise comparing in mental health between 91 high school girls in Incheon who participate the external curriculum autonomous physical education and 88 high school girls who don't participate the external curriculum autonomous P.E.. We have selected the high school girls who do the external curriculum autonomous P.E. above one year, more than three times a week and more than 40 minutes a day as a participant and the high school girls who don't do any exercises in a year as a non-participant. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1) There were no statistically significant differences between the participants and non-participants in Anxiety related to 9 symptoms of mental health. 2) There were statistically significant differences in Somatization, Obsessive-compulsive, Interpersonal Sensitivity, Depression, Prejudice, Hostility, Paranoid Ideation and Psychoticism. 3) It has shown that the participant average of the external curriculum autonomous P.E. was lower than the non-participant average.

      • 헬스클럽 會員의 精神健康 分析 : 女性을 中心으로

        The purpose of this research is to provide the basic data of how important excercise is by conparision between 140 female members who regually exercise at health club and 144 women who don't exercise. Those as members are women who exercise more than an hour a day, 4 days a week, and has worked out for more than a year at health club. Others as general are women who are not involved in any kind of exercise in last one year. Simple psychognosis survey Symptom Checklist-90-Revision has been used. Following results are concluded by analyzing the survey. There are quite differences in 9 different fileds of mental health symptoms; Somatization, Obsessive Compulsive, Intepersonal Sensitivity, Depression, Anxiety, Hostility, Phobic Anxiety, Paranoid Ideation, Psychoticism. The results of members come out lower than general women who don't excercise.

      • 야구선수의 타율 및 방어율과 자기 효능감의 관계 연구

        The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between batting average, earned runs average and self efficiency in baseball players. The subjects were conducted on 243 baseball players(pitcher; 81 players, field player; 162 players) in 14 college teams by random sampling. For this study, batting average, earned runs average and self-efficiency of each independent variable group were measured as dependent variables. The inference and statistical verification of the research assumptions were made with the SPSS program, and the following conclusion was reached after a comparative study between the result of verification and the one of antecedent study: 1. In the attribution sector, field player's group showed high score's significance than pitcher's group. 2. In the field player's group, non significant correlation was showed in relationship between batting average and self efficiency. 3. In pitcher's group, the significant correlation was showed in relationship between earned run average and self efficiency.

      • 고교 씨름선수의 주특기에 따른 체력특성 연구

        Traditional Wrestling players from I High school and P High school in In-Chon District has been used in this research. Confronting list and recording papers from five recently participated match among the nationwide matches have been used as the basic resources. The main specialty has been chosen by the player himself, the specialist, and the coach. I examined the physical strength differences among muscular factor, muscle endurance factor, the power of beginning, flexibility, and balance. By analyzing the correlation among these factors, I tried to provide the basic information for the choosing the player and coaching them. I got such a conclusion as a result of measuring and comparing the primary factors of physical strength. In these studies 10 players from each main specialty helped me. The total players were 40. 1) The power of the left hand's grip was higher for the group using the mixed skills than other players who were using other main specialty. The power of the right hand's grip was higher for the group using waist skills. The group using the waist skills as the main specialty has higher back muscular strength than other groups. (p<0.05) 2) The group using hand skills as the main specialty has higher power for sit-up among the muscle endurance factors. (p<0.05) 3) The group using mixed skills as the factor of power has higher power of beginning in the 50m run than other groups. (p<0.05) 4) For the trunk flexion among the flexibility factors, the group using hand skills as the main specialty had higher flexibility. As for the trunk extension, the group using mixed skills has higher flexibility than other groups. (p<0.05) 5) For the side step among the agility factors, the group using the hand skills as the main specialty has higher agility than other groups. (p<0.05) 6) Among the balance factors, standing in one foot with the eyes closed appeared to have no difference on each group using its own main specialty. (p<0.05)

      • 대학 교양체육 수업이 정신건강에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to clarify the relationship between general physical education and mental health of the university students. More specifically, this study aimed 1) to verify the relative differences between general physical education participant group and non-participant group. 2) to compare the relative differences between general physical education programs such as swimming, tennis, bowling, and soccer. This study will contribute to evaluate the value of general physical education activities and its importance for the university students and finally this study may provide the basic data for the relative studies. The participants of this study were 234 students who were participated in the general physical education programs such as swimming, tennis, bowling, and soccer, and 243 non participants for the control group. To measure the mental state of the participants, 'the simple mental health test' questionnaire was conducted. The statistical package for the analysis of the data were SPSS-PC+ Ver.10.0 to examine the hypothesized relations among the measures of general physical education program and mental health, three sets of analyses were performed, 1) the mean score and standard deviation were calculated, 2) the t-test was conducted to find the group differences between participants and non-participants, 3) the two-way ANOVA was conducted to compare the four program groups. The significant level was p<05. The conclusions of this study were as follows; First, there was significant differences between participants and non-participants in the obsessive compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, phobic anxiety, and paranoid ideation, but there was no significant differences in the somatization, hostility, and psychoticism. Second, there was significant differences between swimming, tennis, bowling and soccer in the somatization, obsessive compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, depression and hostility but there was no significant differences in the paranoid ideation, phobic anxiety, and anxiety.
