Contents of these treatise propose method to embody station addition and passivity point correction. That store in TCMS"s memory being downloaded all train running path data that is consisted of name of station and station code, departure station, destination station, train number, running time through PCMCIA memory card. Search relevant running path data and current station, destination station, the next station start time present to TCMS"s display. In case it is no received information of station, device that do function of passenger broadcasting and pilot light does not act. This time, if input information of current station, relevant device does point revision.

As the high performance computer system increases, improving of reality and usefulness causes the virtual environment of simulator to be used widely as training and assessment tool. Although some domestic companies have developed train driving simulators since about mid of 1990s, accumulation of technology and experience is not yet sufficient compared to foreign makers. This paper describes system composition, training and assessment regimes for high level train driving simulator. When the subsystems are designed, comprehension of train system is emphasized and the functions that simulator should provide are discussed.

These days customers require various things such as multiple train, variable trainset, multiple Auxiliary Power Generator(APG) and so on. Among these, the train with multiple APG is installed with APG in each car. Thus, we control and monitor train installed with multiple APG through the TCMS(Train Control & Monitoring System). The TCMS supervise APG failure status and transmit control data in case of a APG failure or more, so energize or de-energize ESK and LRR. Therefore, we can easily control ESK and LRR which gets hard to control because of multiple APG.

It is possible to suppress voltage drops, power load fluctuations and regeneration power lapses for DC railway systems by applying an energy storage system. A ultracapacitor of the rapid charge and discharge type has been efficiency and maintenance free low pollution features as a new energy storage element. This paper proposes a base models of hybrid railway vehicle power system. Therefore, the base models of power conversion system with a ultracapacitor energy saving system for hybrid powered system that includes the ultracapacitor cell stack, DC-DC converter are developed. an efficient charge and discharge control method of a bidirectional DC-DC converter using ultracapacitor is proposed.
전동차의 중련연결시 TCMS장치의 데이터 통신에 관한 네트워크 구현

The train configuration is based on one unit like basic 4 cars to multiple unit operation. Each unit has unique node such as train formation number. Some equipments(TC, CC) of TCMS are connected to the master TC through the LonWorks network. When the train is consist of multiple unit, TCMS has to implement quick network for data communication overall train. But a variable time delay is generated when it is performed communication with point to point type using train formation number. In this paper we propose new method to know the node information of adjacent unit. that is to add digital input signals notifying cab direction at any cabin. Also, we provide the optimized screen design that all collected information via network is displayed by each unit.

This paper describes the characteristic feather of propulsion system adopting mass production. The train formation is composed of 4 cars by 2 Motor cars and 2 Train cars. Acceleration rate must be 3.0 ㎞/h/s or more when the car starts up to 35㎞/h by 16ton of passenger load. The system information supervision is easy because the system is controlled to perfect digital circuits, all information of an action is stored in a memory and is managed. The control system is composed of a fully digital circuit and a high level software such as C language. The DSP TMS320C31 is used for main processor and has the capability of 50㎒, 32bit floating point operation and has a C compiler. Therefore, the implementation of control algorithm and the change of function are easy. VVVF inverter using IGBT conducted variable combined test, environment test using chamber, interface test and field test etc.

It often happens that the position indication of EMU(Electric Multiple Unit) is not possible from a malfunction of specified components by a factor of flow such as harmonic current at a track occupied circuit. Especially, a common frequency factor can be included at the return current generated during operation of propulsion system because DC input voltage is inputted from rectifier via transformer and it is easy to have a malfunction of a component (relay) has a factor of the common frequency as an operating source. Here, current detected through using and extra current transformer and sensing circuit to measure the return current when operating can be extracted into the current of common frequency by "Algorithm for extracting the factor of specified frequency" on the propulsion system of DC line voltage applied to EMU. It has the purpose that is to minimize a malfunction of the relay in track occupied circuit as applying real time monitoring and protection logic by setting a criterion level.
