스마트기기 활용 수업과 AI교육에 관한 초등교원 인식 조사

이 연구는 스마트기기 활용 수업 및 AI교육에 대한 초등교원의 인식을 조사 분석하여 AI교육의 안정적인 정착 방안을 규명하고자 수행되었다. 스마트기기 활용 수업 만족도와 AI교육에 대한 지각된 유용성, 수용 정도, 관심도를 조사·분석하였고 스마트기기 활용 수업 만족도가 AI교육에 대한 지각된 유용성, 수용 정도, 관심도에 영향을 주는지 확인하고자 했다. 연구 대상으로 K교육청 소속 초등교사 107명을 표집하였고 연구 도구로는 온라인 설문지를 개발하여 활용하였으며 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사들의 스마트기기 활용 수업에 대한 만족도는 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, AI교육에 대한 지각된 유용성, AI교육 수용 정도, 관심도 역시 대체로 높은 수준이었다. 셋째, 스마트기기 활용 수업에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 AI교육에 대한 지각된 유용성, 수용 정도, 관심도가 높아지는 것으로 나타나 스마트기기 활용 수업에 대해 긍정적으로 인식할수록 AI교육에 대한 인식도 긍정적인 것으로 파악할 수 있었다. 시사점으로는 AI교육에 대한 교사들의 긍정적인 인식을 높이기 위해 스마트기기 활용 수업에 대한 만족도를 높이는 것을 제안하였으며 교사들이 AI교육의 유용성을 인지하고 좀 더 적극적으로 수용하며 관심도를 높일 수 있도록 연수 과정과 수업 자료를 제공하는 것도 제안하였다. 하지만, 이 연구는 K교육청 소속 초등교사만을 대상으로 수행했다는 제한점이 있음을 밝히며, 후속 연구를 위해서는 교사뿐만 아니라 학생, 학부모까지 확대된 인식을 파악하는 것과 AI교육에 대한 긍정적인 인식이 실제적인 수용으로 이어지는지 종단적인 연구를 진행하는 것도 필요함을 제언한다. This study aimed to investigate and analyze the perceptions of elementary school teachers regarding the use of smart devices in classrooms and AI education, in order to identify stable strategies for the successful implementation of AI education. The study surveyed and analyzed the satisfaction levels of smart device-based classroom activities, as well as the perceived usefulness, acceptance, and interest in AI education. Additionally, the study aimed to examine the influence of satisfaction levels with smart device-based classroom activities on the perceived usefulness, acceptance, and interest in AI education. A sample of 107 elementary school teachers affiliated with the K Education Office was selected, and an online survey was developed and utilized as the research tool. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 software. The research findings are as follows: Firstly, the teachers expressed high satisfaction with smart device-based classroom activities. Secondly, there was generally a high level of perceived usefulness, acceptance, and interest in AI education. Thirdly, it was observed that higher satisfaction with smart device-based classroom activities was associated with higher levels of perceived usefulness, acceptance, and interest in AI education. Therefore, it can be inferred that positive perceptions of smart device-based classroom activities are linked to positive perceptions of AI education. The implications of the study suggest that in order to foster positive perceptions of AI education among teachers, efforts should be made to enhance satisfaction levels with smart device-based classroom activities. Furthermore, it is recommended to provide training programs and teaching materials that help teachers recognize the usefulness of AI education and encourage them to actively embrace and increase their interest in it. However, it is important to note that this study was limited to elementary school teachers affiliated with the K Education Office. Therefore, future research should expand its scope to include not only teachers but also students and parents in order to obtain a broader understanding of their perceptions. Additionally, conducting longitudinal studies to investigate whether positive perceptions of AI education actually translate into practical acceptance is also suggested for future research.
