The objective of this paper is to predict buckling pressure for composite cylindrical shell using buckling formula (ASME 2007, NASA SP 8007) and finite element analysis. The model of this study has stacking angle [0/90]12t and is made of USN 125 composite material. All specimens were made using pre-preg method. The study method of this paper is that numerical analysis, finite element analysis and buckling formula, is conducted, compared and verified through hydrostatic pressure buckling experiments. Second, the values of buckling formula and buckling pressure values of finite element analysis were compared, while the stacking angie was made to change by 5 degrees from 20 degrees to 90 degrees. The linear and nonlinear results of finite element analysis is compliant with results of experiment as safety factor 0.85 ~ 1. Based on the result above, the ASME 2007 formula, a simplified version of the NASA SP-8007 formula is regarded as a buckling formula in which more reliable safety factors are considered.

The finishing process of die requires the processing technique of a height efficiency and precision. Because the precision of die gives the quality of goods the influence directly. The hydro-static polishing device employs the hydro-static axis and is able to polish the structure of complex picture under the constant pressure and is got constant surface roughness at all polished plane. Therefore, In order to polish precision sculptured surface, it was used the hydro-static polishing device. Polishing device's polishing characteristic is estimated by polishing conditions which are size of abrasive, material of tools. And, because the surface quality of workpiece depends on polishing pattern which relates to motion of abrasive grain. The polishing characteristic according to polishing pattern was evaluated.

As the industrial development is accelerated, a new machining process and system are keenly required to achieve super precision surface finish. Especially to get ground surface finish for complicated and narrow inner shape of molds, it is impossible with the existing methods so that a new method is being required to be developed. A new material; called Magic(MAGnetic Intelligent Compounds), is finally made and it is called Magic machining that uses this material. There is a way to make a material as follows, the mixture of magnetic particles, bonding material and particles of abrasive grain should be melt down by proper heat, and then this mixture put in a mold and cool down in magnetic field which has a uniform direction. This new polishing method is spotlighted as an excellent solution to the existing problems. However it hasn't reported any study about the influence of the machining conditions of polishing velocity, amplitude and polishing pressure to the surface roughness yet. This study would examine closely the influence of polishing conditions of. the Magic polishing tool to the surface finish to decide the optimum polishing condition and to standardize the Magic polishing work.

Nuclear power equipments are required the dynamic and sloshing analyses based on the earthquake spectrum and static analysis on normal loading including pressure and nozzle loading to verify the structural integrity of the equipment The structure was modeled using finite element techniques. Calculated stresses from finite element model are evaluated in accordance with design criteria of KEPIC MCN, 2000 or ASME B&PV code. In this paper, the special loading for equipment design and analysis examples are introduced.
자기연마기술을 이용한 고속절삭공구의 성능향상에 관한 연구

The magnetic fluid polishing technique can polish the tool of complex shape, because the polishing method which polishes as compress the workpiece by the magnetism abrasives to arrange to the linear according to the line of magnetic force. Therefore, we producted the magnetic fluid polishing device in order that mirror like finishing processes the tool surface. In order to a polishing condition selection, polishing characteristic was estimated by polishing conditions which are magnetic flux density, polishing speed, grain size, magnetic fluid. The tool was polished to the selected polishing condition. The result to evaluate the polished tool’s performance with the cutting force and tool wear, the polished tool's performance was improved compared with the tool not to polish.
설계단계 적용을 위한 차량의 해체용이설계(DfD: Design for Disassembly) 통합시스템 개발

In order to improve the recyclability and to reduce the recycling cost and time, the disassembly technology should be systemized because the worn out products can be reused or recycled after disassembly processes. This paper attempts to propose the integrated CATIA-based DfD (Design for Disassembly) support system to promote the disassemblability of products. The system is composed of two modules; evaluation of disassemblability, generation of DID alternatives. The disassemblability of current vehicle is evaluated to identify the weak point in terms of disassembly using the DELMIA and developed evaluation system. Furthermore a new expert system is developed to propose the optimal redesign rule and principle for generating the DfD alternatives. In order to generate the DfD alternatives, a CATIA-based design support system is implemented. The system can provide quick results and ensure consistency and completeness of the redesign alternatives.
