Battle field simulation based on surveyed data is hard to obtain the realistic visualization. The battlefield environment includes the land terrain, the sea, the seabed and the atmosphere, because the defense system includes the army, navy and air force. The unnatural visualization problems stem from the integration of surveyed data. This paper defines two major problems which affect the quality of visualization output as follows, 1) unnatural boundary between land terrain and seabed due to the different resolutions of DEM data, 2) Z-fighting rendering problem near shore. To solve the problems, the GIS interpolation method is used, and the partitioning method of the Cascaded Shadow Maps algorithm is applied to the camera view frustum.
