MESFET의 Cascode결합에 의한 저잡음 자기발진믹서의 MMIC 설계

In this paper, a low noise self-oscillating mixer with the characteristics of low noise figures is applied to MMIC design by use of Cascode coupled MESFETs to apply to the front-end of C-band MW/RF transceiver. To operate Cascode coupled MESFETs with a self oscillating mixer, the higher MESFET operates as an IF amplifier in the saturation region and the lower MESFET selects the optimal bias to serve as a mixer in the linear region. The designed low noise self oscillating mixer shows the characteristics of phase noise in the oscillation frequency from 5.15GHz to -99.31dBm @ 100KHz. The conversion gain in the IF output frequency from 950MHz is around 2.09dB, The gain compression(P1db) which is an index of the linear nature indicates around -8.913dBc. And the noise figure, especially, shows less than 4.5dB.

In this paper, we implemented the integrated gateway protocol supporting both Zigbee and PLC(Power Line Communication). The suggested system for home network is consist of sensors, Zigbee, PLC modem and integrated gateway. The measured information of sensors are stored through Zigbee and analyzed in the integrated gateway. And from the measured data, we can control the home appliances with PLC modem to provide comfortable environment. The implemented integrated gateway protocol can apply to the intelligent home network system design.
