한국의 기업메세나 활성화 방안 연구 : AHP 적용을 통한 우선순위 분석

세계화ㆍ정보화의 진전, 가치관의 다양화, 시민사회의 성숙 등으로 대표되는 현대 사회의 환경변화는 기업이 창출하는 가치의 내용이나 사업 범위에 커다란 변화를 가져오고 있다. 이러한 변화는 기업을 평가하는 시각을 다양화시키면서, 기업행동에 커다란 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 고에서는 최근 기업의 사회적 책임영역의 한 부분으로 부각되고 있는 기업메세나의 활성화 방안에 대해 논의한 뒤 AHP 적용을 통해 주요방안들 간의 우선순위를 분석하였다. 분석결과에 의하면 신자유주의적 흐름 속에서도 문화예술에 대한 정부의 역할에 대해 문화행정 전문가나 메세나 담당부서 직원 모두 큰 기대를 걸고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 정부의 역할측면에서는 ‘세제감면 및 유인제공’이 가장 중요한 요인으로 지적되었으며, 기업의 역할제고 측면에서는 ‘경영자의 인식제고’가 메세나 활성화의 가장 중요한 요인으로 지적되었다. 또한 협의회 역할 가운데는 ‘지역메세나 활동 강화’가 가장 중요한 요인으로 지적되었다. 문화의 세기로 불리우는 21세기에 기업의 축적하고 있는 문화자본은 곧 그 기업의 경쟁력이 될 것이며, 크게는 국가의 경쟁력이 될 것이다. 기업의 문화자본과 사회의 문화자본축적의 매개환(媒介環)으로서 기업메세나의 활성화에 주목할 때이다. The motivation and expectation of the corporation mecenat have shifted from philanthropy to sponsorship in the recent years. Many studies indicate that the most important gain from the mecenat activities is to improve the image of corporation. This study tries to evaluate the economic and social effects of the cultural development of the corporate investment on the culture and the arts, and then review the present corporate investment. This study suggests some options to build a reciprocal relationship and development between the corporation and the culture and the arts. But this study has some limits due to relatively short history, lack of systematical field data on corporate mecenat activities. This study puts an emphasis on the role of corporate mecenat to reenforce the government failure and to maintain the sustainable corporate development. Therefore the purpose of this study is to review the necessity of corporate mecenat activities and suggest some strategies for activating corporate Mecena in Korea. Corporate mecenat upbuild the cultural capital of corporate and cultural capital of society together.
