청소년의 직업경험이 구직효능감에 미치는 영향: 자기주도성의 조절효과를 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 직업경험과 구직효능감 간의 관계에서 자기주도성의 조절효과를 살펴보고, 청소년의 구직효능감 증진 방안 모색을 위한 기초자료를 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 한국청소년패널조사(KYPS)의 중2패널 4차년도(고등학교 2학년)와 6차년도 자료(대부분 대학교 1학년)를 활용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과를 살펴보면, 청소년의 구직효능감은 직업경험 중 진로준비행동이 증가할수록 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 6차년도에서 청소년의 직업경험 중 진로준비행동과 구직효능감 간 관계에서 자기주도성의 조절효과가 통계적으로 유의미하였으며, 자기주도성이 높은 집단에서 진로준비행동과 구직효능감 간 정적 관계가 더욱 강하게 나타났다. 이는 청소년의 직업경험이 구직효능감의 상승이라는 긍정적 영향을 가져오도록 하기 위해서 청소년들이 자기주도성을 발현할 수 있도록 진로교육의 변화 및 제도적 개선을 해야 함을 의미하는 것이다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 하여, 진로설계 및 직업준비 과정에 있는 청소년의 자기주도성을 높이기 위한 실천적 방안을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effects of the self-directedness in the relationship between adolescents` work experience and job-seeking self-efficacy. For this purpose, two waves of data, 4th wave(2nd year of high school) in 2006 and 6th wave(mostly 1st year of university) in 2008, from Korea Youth Panel Survey administered by National Youth Policy Institute were utilized. The results are as follows: Adolescents` career preparation behavior among work experience had positive effects on the job-seeking self-efficacy in both waves, and the positive effects of the career preparation behavior on job-seeking self-efficacy were moderated by self-directedness in the 6th year survey. The positive effects of career preparation behavior on job-seeking self-efficacy were more likely to be increased when adolescents had stronger self-directedness. To lead the work experience of adolescents to the enhancement of the job-seeking self-efficacy, it is needed that the innovation of career education and policies for adolescents to develop their self-directedness. Based on the results of this study, practical implications were suggested to improve adolescents` job readiness and self-initiative.
