Heavy duty vehicles such as large trucks, tractors, trailers consist of approximately four to five axles and tires and wheels in the rear axles is genearally used to the dual type. But, this type are some problems such as the increase of total weight, the rise of manufacturing costs, the brakedown of tire by extraneous bodies, and the rollover of vehicle. To solve the problem, super-single wheel is developed and produced in USA and EU. In the domestic market, the super-single tires were already developed with tire makers as the center, but super-single wheels remain to the unexplored area. The purpose of this paper is 3D modeling of super-sing wheel by Catia V5, structure analysis to use Ansys, coupled analysis using Tosca and design of super-single wheel appling topology optimization.

In addition to the recently optimum design for the development of lightweight technology, examples of applying the composite material is increased. Compression dust system for collecting and transporting the current garbage and waste, we use material of high-strength steel sheet, the durability life is reduced by corrosion or rusting caused by salt and contaminants, by using the welding method sensitive as sex and no good, by applying such a composite material in order to solve the problem, the durability of parts, improved corrosion resistance, fuel consumption and travel distance increases the weight lighter loading platform, operating productivity is improved. In this study, using the finite element analysis program, it was examined structural stability of compressed garbage system tailgate to which the heterogeneous material junction. The maximum open angle of the tail gate is 56 degrees, up to a maximum deformation amount 5.03mm occurred result of analysis in the load case in the state in tailgate tip open, maximum stress in the tailgate rotating plate coupling part 175.27 ㎫ occurs. Further, it was confirmed that was not satisfied than the reference safety factor 1.5.

In the current automotive industry, due to high oil prices, new mechanism of automatic transmission has been studied in order to high fuel efficiency and improve power performance. Stage of AT(Automatic Transmission) is increasing continuously but its structure is more complex. So, CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission) which has infinite stages and freely shifting has emerged s the leading candidate. But, power transmission by friction between belt and pulley is the cause of power loss due to friction. In this paper, to overcome the disadvantage of AT and CVT, PGC(Planetary Gear-Chain) type CVT which delivered power without slip by engagement of the planetary gear and the chain has been studied. The analysis models were selected two types of PGC CVT, and the multi-body dynamics program ADAMS was used for analysis of dynamic behavior characteristics. As a result, B-type model rotated driving and driven part at the same time shows to wide shifting ratio and low average torque.
