전력계통이 초고압, 대규모화되고 대용량 전력설비들의 고신뢰도 운전이 한층 요망되고 있는 환경에서 변전소 자동화시스템의 중요성은 나날이 커지고 있다. 초고압 변압기, GIS 등 변전설비의 효율적인 관리를 위해 적용되는 IEC 61850 기반의 디지털변전소에 대한 기술 검토 등이 다수 필요한 실정이며, 설비 안정성 향상 및 체계적인 운영을 가능하게 한다는 점에서 전력설비의 성공적인 운영에 없어서는 안 될 방안으로서 자리매김할 수 있도록 향후 지속적인 연구와 관심이 뒷받침되어져야 할 것이다. In the circumstances which a highly reliable operation in electric power facilities of extra high voltage and large capacity is needed, the importance of a substation automation is growing large day and day. It needs a technical review about digital substation which is applied for the efficient management on the electric power facilities like the extra high voltage power transformer, GIS etc. and enables the improvement of safety and the systematic management of electric power facilities. In addition, it is supported by the ongoing research and interests for the successful operation of power facilities.

This study indicates that wiring conditions are different from the drawing during the design and construction of IJB(Insulation Joint Box} Used in connection section between cables of 154kV substation TIL under construction. We analyzed the problem taking place during the construction in order to solve the problem of the connection section between cables and take measures. Since this measure is taken through improvement measures and case analysis, it is considered to be used for reference in case of TIL construction and design.
