The comforts of railroad vehicle is improved as the manufacturing technique advances. The subway is citizens' important transportation mean, operation length of which is 728.2㎞, and it has become an essential transportation mean which satisfies convenience, regular operation, environmental-friendliness, and safety. The comfort and audibility of train information announcement to the passengers is a large part of riding environment. However, procuring proper loudness of information announcement in accordance with the incessant, unpredictable changes of operation condition such as passenger number, speed and condition of rail and wheels is still a difficult problem to solve. In this study, frequency and time analysis of several types of measured noise, that occurs during train operation, in comparison with train announcement sound sources is made, and implementation of realtime loudness controller by experimental method including implementing system models and analysis algorithms is performed.
