우리의 전통사상은 단연 효사상이다. 효는 백행지본이었다. 모든 전통교육의 출발은 효요 그 교육의 끝도 효였다. 효사상과 효문화가 우리의 전통사상과문화로 정착된 것은 본래 우리의 원시종교에 부모와 조상을 숭배하는 사상이있었기 때문이다. 개인주의와 물질문명의 서구사조는 엄청난 비윤리적 현상을 만연케 하였다. 이런 문제는 시급히 해결해야 할 절실한 과제가 되었다. 따라서 도덕성을 회복하기 위해 우리의 효사상을 성찰하고 효도교육을 근본적으로 강화해야 하는 시대가 된 것이다. 그래서 본고에서는 우리의 효사상의 형성, 참 뜻, 효도교육, 역사성과 앞으로의 중요성에 대해 논구하였다. 앞으로 인간교육을 위해서 계속 중요할 수밖에 없다는 역사적 당위성을 살펴봤다. 이제부터 학교는 대학입시 교육보다는 효도교육에 모든 것을 걸어야만 한다. 그것이 우리가 인간답게 살 수 있는 유일한 길이다. 우리가 진정 세계를 선도하는 문화국가가 되려면 효도사상을 계승하여 교육하는 것이 최선이다. 우리는 효를 통하여 애국애족은 물론이고, 민주시민으로서의 원만한 인간관계 기술도 익힐 수 있다. 효를 통하여 가족해체로 인한 우리 사회의 병폐를 없애고 난마처럼 얽힌 사회문제를 효과적으로 해결하도록 노력해야 한다. 효를 통하여 무너져 가는 사회기강을 바로 잡는 것은 물론, 이를 세계적인 가치관으로 확대하여 인류를 불행으로부터 구하는 데 활용해야 한다. 그리하여 효도의 깊은 뜻을 바르게 알리고 열심히 실천하도록 하기 위한 일과 과거 우리 조상들이 효도교육을 중시하였던 일들이 지금과 무관한 것이 아님을 자각하고, 우리의 밝은 미래를 위해 효도교육의 역사적 중요성을 각인시키는 데 힘써야 할 것이다. Our traditional ideas is by far the filial piety. Departure of all the traditional education was infinitely filial piety of the training. It is filial piety and filial piety culture that settled into our history and cultural tradition, because there was thought to worship the parents and ancestors of our original primitive religion. Western zeitgeist of rampant individualism and material civilization was a huge cake unethical phenomenon. This problem has become urgent problem to be solved urgently. Therefore, in order to restore the moral reflection of our times is filial piety and will need to fundamentally strengthen the filial piety education. So this paper, our form of filial piety, true meaning, filial piety education, history, and was research about the importance of the future. I saw no choice but to continue to examine the historical imperative of human education is important for the future. Now the school has only to walk all the dutiful education rather than training college admissions. That``s the only way we can live like a human being. It is best that we take to be a truly national culture, the world``s leading education followed a filial piety spirit. In this way, we will have to extend the dutiful as global values. Thus, for these things, who work hard to practice to inform the deeper meaning of filial piety right past our ancestors emphasis on filial piety education and awareness that not irrelevant now, to recognize the historical importance of filial piety education for our bright future strength to stand.

점차 약화되어가는 효문화의 회복과 창달을 위해 효를 테마로 하는 연구를 계속 진행하지 않을 수가 없다. 효는 결코 구시대적인 것이 아니며, 인간사회를 아름답게 만들어나가는 절대불변의 가치라고 생각된다. 효는 우리들 가슴속에 면면히 살아 있고, 우리가 세계를 선도하는 문화를 꽃피울 수 있다면 그것은 바로 효문화다. 효문화는 우리의 뿌리 깊은 정서이면서 실천문화로, 누구에게 가르침을 받는 게 아니라 스스로 가정에서 시작되는 환경지배적인 속성을 갖고 있다. 그러므로 우리의 역사를 알고 전통적 문화를 이해했을 때만이 현대적 효문화가 정립될 수 있다고 본다. 효는 우리 조상들이 최고의 도덕으로 여기고 생활하였으며, 지금도 효를 통하여 애국애족은 물론이고, 민주시민으로서의 원만한 인간관계 기술도 익힐수 있다. 효를 통하여 무너진 사회의 기강을 바로 잡고, 이를 세계적인 가치관으로 확대하여 인류를 불행으로부터 구하는 데 활용해야 한다. 작금의 학교폭력문제와 노령화사회의 문제는 시급히 해결해야 할 절실한과제가 되었는데, 효교육을 통해 도덕성을 회복하고 사랑과 협동사회를 만들어야 한다. 또한 효의 대중화를 위해 효의 현대적 가치를 새롭게 분석하고 계승하기 위한 방안을 모색해야만 한다. 아무리 포스트모더니즘의 정보화사회일지라도 가족 자체가 없어질 수는없다. 농경산업시대가 아니라고 해도 땅의 소산을 먹고 살아야 하며, 부모 없이 태어날 수가 없다. 결국 우리나라의 미래는 이제 교육에 기대하는 수밖에 없다. 가정교육을 회복하고 학교교육을 통해 효문화를 선양하고 계승하기 위한 부단한 노력을 경주해야 할 것이다. Filial piety of never not be outdated, and I think the value of a human society that never changes made out beautifully. Filial piety is alive and in our hearts, if we can flourish and culture of the world``s leading culture which is filial piety immediately. Filial piety culture is rooted in our culture while practicing deep emotion, and who, not being taught yourself to have a dominant attribute that starts in the home environment. Therefore, this is a modern look that only filial piety culture can be established to know our history have understood the traditional culture. The state of the problem of school violence issues and an aging society, was a desperate challenge urgently, to restore the integrity through filial piety education and create a collaborative community of love. Must also seek new ways to analyze and inherit the modern value of the filial piety for the popularization of filial piety. Even in the information society, no matter how postmodernism itself, I will not be a family. Agricultural and industrial era is not even live to eat of the fruit of the land, can not be born without parents. After all our country``s future is now no choice but to look forward to in education. Restore the family education and hard work will be racing for lift inherits of the filial piety culture through education.
