In this paper, a strategy to control an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) is presented for hybrid vehicles. To achieve an MTPA(Maximum Torque per Ampere) control, minimum d-q current references, generated from two-dimensional lookup table are used at the motor torque control. Since, the inputs of two-dimension look-up table are torque command and inverse flux magnitude, there is no division of motor operating resigns. The look-up table is implemented by d-q flux and torque data calculated from the motor voltages and current caused by various current vectors of inverter. Full order speed observer and redefined PWM reference are also proposed in this paper for stable torque control at the wide speed range. A prototype is constructed by using dual CPU ( TMS320VC33 and 56F805) controller and 30KVA PWM Inverter. An experiment results are presented for IPMSM installed to the Diesel hybrid vehicle.

This paper describes design procedure and control strategy of HDC(High side DC/DC Converter) and MCU(Motor Control Unit) for diesel hybrid electric vehicle. In designing HDC and MCU for HEV high power density and reliability is strongly needed to meet the demand of automotive industry. In order to achieve the high performance of a controller, MPC5554 based control board is developed. An optimized film capacitor and inductor are also developed for high efficiency driving. Skim 63 IGBT module of SEMIKRON for automotive is used for power switching device. The most efficient cooling model for optimal size and reliability were verified by simulation. These procedures are verified by bench or driving test and the results are present in this paper.

본 논문에서는 하이브리드 자동차의 고전압 배터리 충ㆍ방전을 위한 비절연의 새로운 양방향 고승압 DC-DC 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안한 컨버터는 CCM에서도 소프트 스위칭이 가능하여 스위칭 손실뿐아니라 인덕터의 발열을 줄일 수 있으며 모든 소자의 전압 정격과 수동소자의 부피도 기존 양방향 컨버터 보다 작아 고효율 및 고전력밀도의 달성을 기대할 수 있다. 제안하는 양방향 컨버터의 동작원리를 설명하고 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 타당성을 검증하였다.

In this paper a high efficiency bi-directional DC-DC conv erter for hybrid vehicles is proposed. The proposed converter a three-phase half-bridge interleaved ZVS converter, is desi gned to have high efficiency in the main operation range. The component ratings are calculated, the actual devices are selected, and the efficiency analysis has been performed to determine optimal ZVS range. The input and output current ripples are significantly reduced due to the interleaved opera tion. The dual loop control for the interleaved three-phase converter is also presented. To confirm the proposed convert ter, The simulation and experimental results are presented.
