If the infinitesimal delamination exists and the two waves can hardly be distinguished from each other on account of being much closer, we cannot measure the thickness of delamination by the time difference method. On this study, we calculated the thickness of infinitesimal delamination model by means of measuring echo height due to the deflection of material particles and utilized Newton Ring for optical measurement as a delamination model. From the result of Newton Ring expressed in the delamination model, we can calculate the infinitesimal delamination thickness up to $0.2{\sim}0.3{\mu}m$ due to the difference of acoustic impedance by the ratio of the echo height to the total reflection.

In this study, a simulation tool is developed in order to investigate non steady-state cornering performance of 6WD/6WS special-purpose vehicles. 6WD vehicles are believed to have good performance on off-the-road maneuvering and to have fail-safe capabilities. But the cornering performances of 6WS vehicles are not well understood in the related literature. In this paper, 6WD/6WS vehicles are modeled as a 10 DOF system which includes non-linear vehicle dynamics, tire models, and kinematic effects. Then the vehicle model is constructed into a simulation tool using the MA TLAB/SIMULINK so that input/output and vehicle parameters can be changed easily with the modulated approach. Cornering performance of the 6WS vehicle is analyzed for brake steering and pivoting, respectively. Simulation results show that cornering performance depends on the middle-wheel steering as well as front/rear wheel steering. In addition, a new 6WS control law is proposed in order to minimize the sideslip angle. Lane change simulation results demonstrate the advantage of 6WS vehicles with the proposed control law.<br/>

There has been a suggestion of many techniques as the methods of diagnosis for rotational machi- nery. In this study, HFRT was used as the analysis method for ball bearing of automobile and was compared with the conventional ANC technique. And this paper presented the computer simulation process about fault types and noise for the validity of the algorithm and identification of the physical meanings of HFRT. Also, experiment was performed using ball bearing and the results showed that HFRT was much more effective than the conventional methods in diagnostic process.

With the advance of the starrlard of living, the demand on automobile reqires beyond the traffic device, therefore the interior noise has been the important factor for improvement of ride quality. The frequency components in the vehicle cabin on driving are effeted by the frequency of running engine. Specially, in low frequency ranges(20-200Hz), rooming noise of structual coupling noise is generated by the coupling of vibration of driving system and acoustical mode of interior. In this study, multichannel adaptive algorithm was realized and the noise of specific region in the interior of automobile was intended to be reduced through the control of engine noise in the vehicle cabine using developed algorithm.
