      • 철도차량 운전실제어대 설계기준 마련 연구

        There are eight kinds of railroad vehicles such as KTX, PP(Push-Pull), NEL(New Electric Locomotive), EL(Electric Locomotive), DL(Diesel Locomotive), CDC(Commuter"s Diesel Car), VVVF(Variable Voltage Variable Frequency) and Resistance Control Car that Korail corporation presently runs, and a variety of vehicles just like EMU(Electric Multiple Unit) and DMU(Diesel Multiple Unit) currently developed and accepted are running in the near future. However, There is still no design standard of the control stand of cockpit and the same compatibility of forms and control unit arrangements for locomotive engineers because no one has tried to approach in an ergonomic way. It can cause Locomotive engineers to make errors using the machinery. when the new vehicles are adopted, The efficiency of operation will quite fall down due to the separate training of the engineers. Therefore, We"d like to improve the accuracy of manipulating the machinery used by the engineers at all times according to the design standard of ergonomic technology and safety engineering and increase the operational efficiency and the safety of railroad vehicles in order to handle the problems as quickly as we can in an emergent situation.

      • 한ㆍ일철도 안전관리 중장기 계획 비교ㆍ분석 연구

        The Daegue subway fire accident in 2003 intensified fires on train and operation of high speed train in 2004 has made railroad technology greatly improved in Korea. As a long-term safety plan, safety audit and supervision by the government has been established so as to improve railroad safety technology and to guide and supervise safety management of train operating companies generally and specially. Japanese railroad safety master plan has been greatly adjusted by the hukujiyama line of JR West in 2005. Therefore, safety master plan of JR West has been focused in this study. We expect that this study will be used as a data to direct the second railroad safety master plan by analyzing Japanese railroad safety master plan and Korail safety plan.

      • 180㎞/h급 간선형전기동차 운전실 설계기준 마련 연구

        현재 한국철도공사에서 운행하는 철도차량은 KTX, 새마을호동차(PP), 신형전기기관차(NEL), 전기기관차(EL), 디젤기관차, 도시통근형동차(CDC), VVVF, 저항제어차 등 8여종에 이르고, 현재는 150㎞/h급 간선형전기동차(Electric Multiple Unit)는 시험운행중이다. 또한 조만간 폐차되는 새마을호동차의 대체차량으로 180㎞/h급 간선형전기동차의 도입이 예정되어 있다. 하지만 아직까지 철도차량의 운전실제어대 설계기준이 없고, 제어기기의 배치 및 형식 등에 대해 운전자의 입장에서 인체공학적 접근을 시도한 연구도 전무한 실정이어서 개발되는 차량마다 제어기의 형식 및 조작방식이 상이하다. 이는 운전자의 기기취급 오류를 유발할 가능성이 매우 크며, 신규차량 도입시 별도의 운전자 교육을 시행해야하는 등 운영상의 효율성이 매우 떨어진다. 따라서 운전자의 의견수렴을 바탕으로 운전 중 상시 취급하는 제어기기 및 안전설비에 대하여 안전공학 및 인체공학적 설계기준을 마련하여 운전자로 하여금 기기취급에 정확성을 높이고, 이례적인 상황에서 보다 더 신속한 대처를 할 수 있도록 하여 철도차량 안전성과 운영상의 효율성을 증진하고자 한다. The rolling stocks of KORAIL are KTX, Saemaulho Multiple Unit(PP), New Electrical Locomotive(DL), Electrical Locomotive(EL), Diesel Locomotive, Metropolitan Commuter Train(CDC), VVVF and Resistance Controlled Multiple Unit, etc. EMU with the maximum speed of 150km/h is under the test run at the moment. Electrical Multiple Units for mainlines with 180km/h speed are supposed to be introduced as a substitute for Saemaulho Multiple Unit which is scheduled to be out of service. But the specification standard for the control board design of train driver's cab does not exist and there is no a study for layout and type of controlling device with driver's ergonomical approach. That's why the types of controller and operating are different from rolling stocks, which has high possibility of driver's human error and needs education whenever a new car comes in. Based on the opinion poll of drivers, design specification of safety engineering and ergonomics for controlling devices and safety facilities can improve exact control for devices and deal quickly with an emergency so as to improve rolling stock safety and operational efficiency.

      • 한국철도공사 건널목 사고에 대한 위험도평가 기반의 안전관리 방안 연구

        Looking into The safety management system of KORAIL, it is usually enforcing the safety check on a regular basis to prevent railroad accident, yet most training and regulations related to accidents are focusing on the field of emergent countermeasures just like prompt report and accident restoration in the event of accidents. However, It is possible that this takes care of the accidents quickly but It can not be a proper way to decrease the real accidents as a scientific safety management system. therefore, For the effective safety management, the accidents in the past have to be investigated and advanced management system is needed and applied so as to control of the risk changing into ALARP level by evaluating the risk about the accident occuring probability and severity. This study shows the alternative cost and effective cost by considering the ways to reduce the risk efficiently and by executing the risk evaluation of crossing accidents occurred more than other accidents among railroad accidents. so, we will suggest the safety management method to invest the cost effectively.

      • 선진 위험도 평가 기반의 건널목사고 안전관리 전략 연구

        Operation of KORAIL's level crossing is in charge of KORAIL. As taking over existing level crossing to KORAIL, they do not conduct risk assessments, so we do not know about any possibilities of inner risk. And present operation of safety of the level crossing is just regular checking of reaction and functions of safety equipments physically, we need to react to the changes of what's going on around of level crossing and incestigation of traffic flow and surrounding conditions more spontaneously. So, we have to prepare the strategies against accidents of level crossing cost-effectively based on regular risk assessments for sustainable safety improvements and overcome operational problems of present level crossing's safety. Here, we're going to investigate the level of safety level and present risk factors of the level crossing using risk assessments for accidents/error of the equipments to show operational strategies of level crossing based on risk assessments.
