Squeal noise is a high frequency noise generated by the lateral contact force with the self-excited by the vibration characteristic between the wheels and the rails of the railway. In this paper, we predict the contact force that occurs between the wheel and rail by Hongik Squeal Noise Test Rig(HSNT). Squeal noise is generated at 1,000 ~ 4,000 Hz frequency band From HSNT. To predict this model calculates the lateral contact force to 10,000 Hz. The wheel and rail extracts a vibration characteristic using the FEM. The convolution integral is calculated the lateral velocity of the wheel and rail. Contact force is calculated using the friction coefficient according to the creepage.
