유아기 체육교육의 과제 -유아체육의 가정연계 필요성 고찰-

본 연구는 유아의 발달에 기여할 수 있는 유아기 체육교육의 중요성을 가정 연계의 필요성에서 살펴보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 최근 연일 보도되고 있는 사회적 현상으로 ``자살`` 이나 ``부모로 부터의 아동폭력 피해`` 에 대한 보도가 끊이지 않고있다. 이러한 사회적 문제점을 ``애착`` 형성기인 유아기 양육환경과 유아체육의 관련성으로 접근하여 살펴보고, 유아기에 부모와의 긍정적 관계형성에 대한 유아체육의 역할과 가정연계 확산에 대한 필요성을 고찰하여 앞으로의 유아체육의 과제를 제안하고자 한다. The purpose of this research is to examine the necessity of family intervention connection in early childhood physical education for proper child development. Recently, Korea is plagued by news resulting from social phenomena such as ``suicide`` and ``child abuse``. This research will examine these social problems in regards to child rearing environments, which is the crucial period in developing attachment relationship, and physical education for children. It will also study the role of physical education for children in forming a positive relationship with parents during the early childhood period and the need to encourage parents to participate in physical education with their children. Lastly, it will suggest a tasks that society must solve in order to create a better atmosphere in this field for the future.

본 연구는 일본의 유아체육을 소개하는데 목적이 있다. 일본의 유아체육은 1964 년 도쿄올림픽 대회를 기점으로 연구와 교육은 1970 년대 무렵에 시작되었다. 그 후 산업계에서 조기교육 개발이 일본 유아체육 활성화에 영향을 미쳤다. 일본의 유아체육 교육자들의 관심내용은 초기에는 체력기르기에서 비롯되어 사회과학계와 자연과학계 분야에서 관심이 높았으나, 1990 년 후반부터 의학과 생리학으로 연구 분야가 확장되었다. 최근에는 사회 환경의 급격한 변화로 말미암아 생활습관과 관련한 연구와 프로그램의 실천이 활발하게 전개되고 있다. 일본 유아체육의 목적은 다양한 신체활동을 통하여 교육적 목표를 달성하고 운동욕구의 만족과 신체의 제 기능의 조화적 발달을 도모하고 정신발달 및 사회성발달을 촉진하여 심신이 건전한 유아로 기르는 것이다. 또한 일본의 유아체육은 유아가 살아가기 위한 힘을 기르는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 일본 유아체육 현장에서의 주요 프로그램은 운동기술과 운동을 통한 즐거움 행복감을 체험할 수 있도록 하는데 목적을 두고 야형사회로 인해 나타난 유아의 생활습관을 정상적으로 회복시킬 수 있는 현장실천 프로그램 연구에 많은 관심을 기울이고 있다. 일본의 유아체육지도자는 현재 한국의 상황과 여러 부분에서 유사하다. 유아체육 지도자를 전문적으로 양성하는 기관은 학회 및 협회에서 주로 그 역할을 하고 있고 대학의 학과 및 교과과정에서는 구체적으로 유아체육 관련 수업이나 연구가 전문적으로 다루어지고 있지 않다. This study aims to introduce Japan``s physical education program for children. Starting from the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, research and education for Japan``s physical education for children began in the 1970s. Later, the industry``s development of early education influenced the progressive growth of children``s physical education programs. The interests of Japanese educators were initially on increasing physical fitness and therefore drawn towards the social sciences and natural sciences. In the late 1990s, the scope expanded to include medicine and physiology. Recently, studies on lifestyle and habit have swiftly emerged reflecting the rapid changes in the social environment. The goal of Japan``s physical education for children is to promote mentally and physically healthy upbringing of children. This is realized by achieving educational goals through various physical activities, satisfaction exercise needs and balanced bodily development, and promoting healthy mental and social skills. The program aims to also increase children``s fitness. The main program in Japan``s physical education for children aims to help subjects experience enjoyment and well-being through physical activity and exercise and focuses on practical research and programs geared to normalize children`` s lifestyle in an increasingly an owl style society. Japanese educators share several similar aspects to their Korean counterparts. Institutes and societies are the main providers of professional training for educators and university departments and curricula do not offer in-depth courses on children physical education.
