This study is focused on transmissible system in the SUV. In Vehicle transmissible system, body mounts connect frame with BIW and have an important role of isolating the vibration from the road. Thus, it can be performed to improve the ride comfort by tuning the stiffness array of body mounts. In order to determine optimal array, orthogonal array is used. And the acceleration of vertical direction is calculated by FEM, NASTRAN. The calculated datum will be compared with the datum of vehicle test.

Squeal noise which is the majority of brake noise is divided into low frequency squeal and high frequency squeal. Generally, the low frequency squealing mechanism is a rotor axial direction mode that couples the pads, rotor and other components; while higher frequency squeal mainly exhibits a rotor tangential mode. In this paper, the low frequency squeal is pointed and some examples are exhibited to reduce noise by means of mode decoupling.

The rigid 5link rear suspension system is cheap, economical rear suspension system and very popular. But it has a problem, in case of the wheel bump and rebound, the lateral displacement can occur. This is bad for suspension design and vehicle handling characteristics. In this article new 6link system is introduced to reduce the lateral displacement. Assist lateral link is used to reduce the lateral displacement in 5 link system. The lateral compliance geometry change is shown by ADAMS kinematic compliance analysis and using the NASTRAN transient vibration analysis the lateral response of rear suspension can be seen.

For the purpose of finding out the sound field characteristics in a cavity of a rectangular enclosure, analytical and experimental studies are performed with white noise input. Experimental method using two-microphone impedance tube measures the impedances of foamed aluminum. Foamed aluminum is well known metallic porous sound absorption material which has excellent properties of light weight and high absorbing performance. And predicted impedances of foamed aluminum is compared with measured impedance. Predicted acoustical parameters of foamed aluminum are applied to the theoretical analysis for predict sound pressure field in the cavity. The sound absorption effects through measurements are compared with prediction in both cases with and without foamed aluminum lining in the cavity of the rectangular enclosure

To measure tire rolling resistance, majority of the industry uses two methods, ISO 28580 and SAE J1269. Differences of test procedures between them result in tradeoffs in measurement time and coverage. ISO 28580 requires 2 hours per tire measurement and it only can represent resistance under limited driving condition. on the other hands SAE J1269 requires 4 hours per tire but can represent resistances under various axial loads and pressures. Thus there has been a requirement to estimate various resistances by using simpler resistances. This study describes an optimized method to estimate tire resistance measured on SAE J1269 by using tire resistance measured on ISO 28580. This paper suggests building linear regression models between ISO 28580 and SAE J1269 on several areas separated by axial loads and tire pressures. The suggested method showed R2 of 0.9 and mean absolute error of 0.1.
