Currently, when digital horns are manufactured, the method of correcting the horn apparatus by hand with a source frequency and its duty cycle for the horn fixed is used to get a target sound. This method has weaknesses that it needs experts and their much working time. In this paper, an effective deviation correction capable digital horn is proposed and implemented, in which the method of correcting a source frequency and its duty cycle for the horn is used while allowing the deviation of structure of the horn apparatus. Using the deviation correction program for the digital horn makes the correction works easier than correcting by hand and the expert correction skill by hand is no longer needed. The method in this paper can considerably reduce the production cost by lowering the dependency on the experts and reducing their working time.

현재 생산되고 있는 디지털 혼은 기구물의 편차를 보정하기 위한 전문 작업 인력이 필요하고 작업 시간이 오래 걸리는 문제점이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기구물의 편차를 쉽게 보정할 수 있는 디지털 혼을 구현하였다. 이를 통해 작업 시간과 작업 인력을 감소시켜 생산성이 증가하는 효과를 얻을 수 있다. The experts is needed to compensate for the gap between the manufactured horns and the expected horns in the process of production currently being used and therefore working time is easily affected and prolonged by the degree of experts’ skill. In this paper, the digital horn has been implemented, which can be easily compensated for the gap. The implemented horn reduces working time and work force and the productivity has been considerably enhanced.

To remotely control streetlamps, an individual streetlamp controller is installed to each individual streetlamp and a panel board controller is needed, which functions as a communication relay between the individual streetlamp controllers and a management server. The existing streetlamp panel board controllers supporting only one type of communication method have a weakness that they can not adapt a variety of communication methods of management servers. In this paper, a panel board controller has been designed and implemented, which communicates with each individual streetlamp by PLC and with a management server by external communication modem to function as a communication relay. The implemented panel board controller can reduce the development and replacement costs and as well management cost by enabling various types of external modems to communicate with a single management server.

Recently although the PID advertising services are often provided in the heavily populated areas such as department stores, public office, airports, and terminals, there is a disadvantage that the services can be provided only by using the expensive PID advertising system in which TV and advertisement transmitting devices are tightly coupled but not by the existing TV sets. In this paper, to lower the cost of the tightly coupled PID advertising system, a cost-effective advertisement transmitting device has been designed and implemented, which can transmit advertisements video signal through the existing TV set by simple connection to the existing TV set. In addition, the device includes the functions which can remotely monitor the state of TV’s power supply to let the advertiser know whether PID advertisements are being transmitted to the customers and turn on TV set if necessary. The implemented low-cost device would considerably contribute to widespread deployment of PID advertising services.

최근 대형 백화점, 관공서, 공항, 터미널 등 사람이 밀집되어 있는 장소에 PID 광고 서비스를 많이 하고 있으나 TV와 광고 송출 장치가 일체형으로 된 값비싼 형태를 사용하고 있으며, 기존 일반 TV로는 방송을 송출하기 힘든 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 일체형 PID 광고 장치의 가격적인 문제를 해결하기 위해, 일반 TV와 간단한 연결만으로도 광고 송출이 가능한 저비용의 장치를 설계하여 구현하였다. 구현된 장치는 저가로 PID 광고 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 하여 PID 광고의 활성화에 크게 기여할 것이다. 현재의 가로등 제어 시스템은 일출일몰 데이터에 의존하여 가로등을 제어하는 방식으로 도로의 밝기의 상관없이 시간에 의해서만 가로등이 점·소등 되고 있다. 따라서 도로면과 그 부근에 존재하는 물체에 충분한 빛을 주어 보행자나 차량 운전자의 시야를 확보 해주어야 하는 가로등이 제 기능을 제대로 하지 못하는 시간대가 생길 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 별도의 광센서를 사용하지 않고, 태양전지 모듈을 사용하는 발전 가로등에서 태양전지 모듈만을 이용하여 조도를 측정하는 센서로 활용하여 도로 조도에 따라 가로등의 밝기를 제어하는 발전 가로등 등주제어기를 설계 및 구현하였다. 또한 낮 시간대에 갑자기 날씨가 흐려져 도로의 조도가 낮아지는 긴급 상황에서도 대응하여 가로등을 작동 시킬 수 있는 기능을 포함하고 있다. Current controling system of streetlight depends on data of sunrise and sunset, it has nothing to do with brightness but only relies on time for turning streetlight on and off. Therefore, it is possible to do not work its function which is secure driver"s sight around roads. Thus, this paper designed and materialized a character of streetlight generator controller. It could control brightness of streetlight depending on illuminance of roads. In order to make it, we did not use a light sensor but use a sensor in the use of streetlight generator. This sensor is run by using PV module. Furthermore, it contains additional function respond to emergency such as cloudy weather. If the cloudy weather comes suddenly, illuminance of roads would be low.

Currently, traditional lighting lamps for electricity generating streetlight system are being replaced with LED lamps because of their advantages of high efficiency and energy saving, and dimming control systems for the streetlight system are introduced to adjust the brightness of LED lamps according to the road illuminance by using photo sensors. But as time passes, the photo sensors may not work properly due to foreign substances such as snow and dust. In this paper, we has designed and implemented a lamppost controller for the photovoltac streetlight system, which controls the brightness of the lamps using its solar cells as illuminance sensors without using extra photo sensors. The implemented controller conducts effective dimming control of lamps even though the road illluminance abruptly decreases due to bad weather condition at daytime and maintains the recommended level of road illuminanation(29 luxes), which results for more than 30% of reduction in average power consumption.

There are still many areas in which the public water-supply service is not provided and therefore small-scale water-supply systems are used, which have many problems. In this paper, a small-scale water-supply system that can inject appropriate amount of chemicals and be used continuously has been designed, which improves chemical and mechanical problems in the chemical injecting methods for the existing small-scale water-supply. In addition, auto matic water quality measuring device has been implemented using sensors and Zigbee module to remotely control the state of the small-scale water-supply system. The implemented system could provide the enhancement of management effectiveness and cost reduction as well.

In this paper, a effective multifunctional monitoring terminal has been developed putting audio, video and RFID technologies all together to implement a complex function of security monitoring, entry control and emergency call. And a DVR interface has been developed, which connects the terminals and a DVR using UTP cables to be able to economically build a large security monitoring system. The developed terminal is easy to manage and enables us to reduce the communication line installation cost to a tenth.

In this paper, a remote automatic battery-charging management system has been implemented using OBD-2 and SMS. The system can effectively prevent the vehicle battery from being discharged wholly due to increasing in usage of electric devices for vehicles while the engine is turned off, or long stay parking according to overseas and business trips. The advantage of the system is that it notifies you by SMS of the states of a vehicle by self-diagnosis under the circumstances not recognizing the need for you to check the states of a vehicle and enables you to effectively deal with the problems.
