Currently, traditional lighting lamps for electricity generating streetlight system are being replaced with LED lamps because of their advantages of high efficiency and energy saving, and dimming control systems for the streetlight system are introduced to adjust the brightness of LED lamps according to the road illuminance by using photo sensors. But as time passes, the photo sensors may not work properly due to foreign substances such as snow and dust. In this paper, we has designed and implemented a lamppost controller for the photovoltac streetlight system, which controls the brightness of the lamps using its solar cells as illuminance sensors without using extra photo sensors. The implemented controller conducts effective dimming control of lamps even though the road illluminance abruptly decreases due to bad weather condition at daytime and maintains the recommended level of road illuminanation(29 luxes), which results for more than 30% of reduction in average power consumption.

Panel board controllers of the grid-connected power generation streetlight system currently use a group control method to monitor the total electricity generation from the system. The panel board controller supporting the group control method includes several branch circuits each of which monitors the total electricity generation from a group of lamppost controllers equipped with photovoltaic cells respectively. Since such a group control method can not detect a malfunction of an individual photovoltaic cell installed in a lamppost, it can not conduct an effective maintenance procedure. In this paper, a lamppost controller has been designed and implemented, supporting monitoring the electricity generation from an individual photovoltaic cell of a lamppost and then being able to determine which photovoltaic cells malfunction. The implemented lamppost controller can measure the electricity generation within accuracy with less than 1% error and keep track of the efficiency degradation or malfunction of an individual photovoltaic cell by real-time monitoring and comparison between adjacent cells as well.

Lighting in a fashion shop has an effect on customers, highlights the products on the shelf, and has become more important. Even though lighting has a significant effect on customers, the studies on fashion shop lighting have primarily focused on how to create lighting which can influence customers’ purchase behavior, and their awareness and expectation. On the contrary, it’s been hard to find a study on a quantified fashion shop lighting plan considering customer confidence. In a current fashion shop lighting plan, display lighting is planned indiscreetly. Therefore, this study conducted an investigation of the light environment of the current fashion shop and museum exhibits lighting. Through such processes, the possibility of applying fashion store display lighting environments was investigated. Finally, for the assessment of museum exhibitions lighting applying fashion store display lighting environments, a subjective evaluation method using light simulation was proposed.

Recently although the PID advertising services are often provided in the heavily populated areas such as department stores, public office, airports, and terminals, there is a disadvantage that the services can be provided only by using the expensive PID advertising system in which TV and advertisement transmitting devices are tightly coupled but not by the existing TV sets. In this paper, to lower the cost of the tightly coupled PID advertising system, a cost-effective advertisement transmitting device has been designed and implemented, which can transmit advertisements video signal through the existing TV set by simple connection to the existing TV set. In addition, the device includes the functions which can remotely monitor the state of TV’s power supply to let the advertiser know whether PID advertisements are being transmitted to the customers and turn on TV set if necessary. The implemented low-cost device would considerably contribute to widespread deployment of PID advertising services.

현재의 가로등 제어 시스템은 일출일몰 데이터에 의존하여 가로등을 제어하는 방식으로 도로의 밝기의 상관없이 시간에 의해서만 가로등이 점·소등 되고 있다. 따라서 도로면과 그 부근에 존재하는 물체에 충분한 빛을 주어 보행자나 차량 운전자의 시야를 확보 해주어야 하는 가로등이 제 기능을 제대로 하지 못하는 시간대가 생길 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 별도의 광센서를 사용하지 않고, 태양전지 모듈을 사용하는 발전 가로등에서 태양전지 모듈만을 이용하여 조도를 측정하는 센서로 활용하여 도로 조도에 따라 가로등의 밝기를 제어하는 발전 가로등 등주제어기를 설계 및 구현하였다. 또한 낮 시간대에 갑자기 날씨가 흐려져 도로의 조도가 낮아지는 긴급 상황에서도 대응하여 가로등을 작동 시킬 수 있는 기능을 포함하고 있다. Current controling system of streetlight depends on data of sunrise and sunset, it has nothing to do with brightness but only relies on time for turning streetlight on and off. Therefore, it is possible to do not work its function which is secure driver"s sight around roads. Thus, this paper designed and materialized a character of streetlight generator controller. It could control brightness of streetlight depending on illuminance of roads. In order to make it, we did not use a light sensor but use a sensor in the use of streetlight generator. This sensor is run by using PV module. Furthermore, it contains additional function respond to emergency such as cloudy weather. If the cloudy weather comes suddenly, illuminance of roads would be low.

최근 대형 백화점, 관공서, 공항, 터미널 등 사람이 밀집되어 있는 장소에 PID 광고 서비스를 많이 하고 있으나 TV와 광고 송출 장치가 일체형으로 된 값비싼 형태를 사용하고 있으며, 기존 일반 TV로는 방송을 송출하기 힘든 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 일체형 PID 광고 장치의 가격적인 문제를 해결하기 위해, 일반 TV와 간단한 연결만으로도 광고 송출이 가능한 저비용의 장치를 설계하여 구현하였다. 구현된 장치는 저가로 PID 광고 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 하여 PID 광고의 활성화에 크게 기여할 것이다.
