본 연구는 도심 속에서 효율적으로 이용되지 못하는 가설 실외 주차장 건물을 이용하여 새로운 공간을 창출하고 본래의 이용과 새로운 효율적인 이용방법 및 본래의 가설 구조물의 Grid를 이용한 디자인 적용을 통해서 갑갑한 일상에 지친 도시민들이 원하고 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 공간에 대한 디자인 프로세스를 밝히는데 목적이 있다. H자 철골 구조물들로 이루어진 가설 구조물에서 얻어온 건물의 Grid를 공간 디자인에 고안하여, 업무와 획일적인 도시민의 신체활동과 휴식에 대한 욕구를 해소할 수 있는 공간 설계가 이루어졌다. Grid와 철제 구조물, 컨테이너 형의 박스디자인의 각 공간은 이용객들의 신체 움직임이 이루어질 수 있는 다양한 모듈로 만들어지고 조합되어 여러 부분에 적용되고 큰 디자인이 형성되었다. 3층의 가설 실외 주차 건물은 크게 휴식과 카페테리아의 1층 공간과 기존의 주차 공간 및 간단한 신체움직임이 이루어질 수 있는 구조물들을 설치한 2층과 정적인 움직임과 좀 더 active하고 활동적인 움직임이 이루어질 수 있는 다양한 크기와 형태의 컨테이너 박스들이 조합된 구조물이 있는 3층으로 나누어 볼 수 있겠다. 이러한 디자인 프로세스들은 시각적인 과정과 결과물들을 통해 보여진다. The objectives of this study is to create a new space, which is making use of temporary outdoor parking structure which is not efficiently used, and to identify the designing process of a space for urban residents to refresh themselves from the stress and pressure of everyday lives, by applying a design which utilizes the original purpose and a new and more efficient purpose as well as the existing grids of the temporary structure. By applying the grids which originate from the temporary installations with T-shaped steel structure to the space design, it can satisfy the needs of urban citizens to do physical exercises and take a rest from their monotonous daily works. The space of each module consists of grids, steel structures, and container-shaped boxes, and is designed to encourage users to exercise their bodies. Various modules are combined with different combinations to create large-scale designs. The three-story temporary structure has a cafeteria on the first floor, parking space and structures designed to encourage uses to exercise their bodies on the second floor, and installations made up with container boxes designed to assist people to do more active and physical activities on the third floor. Such design processes can be seen through visualization process and results.
