This study proposed vision artificial intelligence-based automated supervision technology for external insulation and finishing system, and basic research was conducted for it. The automated supervision technology proposed in this study consists of the object detection model (YOLOv5) and the part that derives necessary information based on the object detection result and then determines whether the external insulation-related adhesion regulations are complied with. As a result of a test, the judgement accuracy of the proposed model showed about 70%. The results of this study are expected to contribute to securing the external insulation quality and further contributing to the realization of energy-saving eco-friendly buildings. As further research, it is necessary to develop a technology that can improve the accuracy of the object detection model by supplementing the number of data for model training and determine additional related regulations such as the adhesive area ratio.

The inspection work at construction sites is one of the important supervisory tasks, which involves verifying that the building is being constructed by the numerical values specified in the design drawings. The conventional measuring method for inspection involves using tools or equipment such as rulers directly by the personnel at the site, and it is usually confirmed by vision. Therefore, this study proposes an model to measure numerical values on images of the construction site. Through the case study to measure the installation interval of jack supports, the proposed algorithm was verified the effiect and validity. The results of this study suggest that it can support inspection work even in the office, which may have been overlooked by on-site inspectors, and contribute to the digitization of inspection work at construction sites.

The positioning technology that measures the position of a person or object is a key technology to deal with the location of the real coordinate system or converge the real and virtual worlds, such as digital twins, augmented reality, virtual reality, and autonomous driving. In estimating the location of a person or object at an indoor construction site, there are restrictions that it is impossible to receive location information from the outside, the communication infrastructure is insufficient, and it is difficult to install additional devices. Therefore, this study tested the direct sparse odometry algorithm, one of the visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (vSLAM) that estimate the current location and surrounding map using only image information, at an indoor construction site and analyzed its applicability as an indoor positioning technology. As a result, it was found that it is possible to properly estimate the surrounding map and the current location even in the indoor construction site, which has relatively few feature points. The results of this study can be used as reference data for researchers related to indoor positioning technology for construction sites in the future.
