        디스플레이 인터페이스에 적용된 6 Gbps급 송신기용 PLL(Phase Locked Loop) 설계

        최근 주파수 합성기는 협대역으로 설계를 하거나 광대역 주파수 합성기의 경우 이중루프구조로 설계하여 위상잡음을 줄이는 방식을 사용하고 있다. 그러나 이중루프구조의 주파수 합성기는 전압제어발진기의 중심주파수 불일치와 추가적인 루프를 필요로 하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 800Mhz ~ 3Ghz를 지원하는 새로운 구조의 단일루프 형태의 다중제어 광대역 주파수 합성기를 제안한다. 본 논문의 주파수 합성기의 전압제어발진기는 Coarse 제어 전압과 Fine제어전압을 고정되며, 최종적으로 낮은 Kvco를 가지게 된다. 주파수 합성기의 모의실험은 UMC $0.11{\mu}m$ 공정에서 검증하였으며, 제안된 주파수 합성기는 다양한 응용분야에 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Recently, frequency synthesizers are being designed in two ways narrow-band loop or dual-loop for wide-band to reduce the phase noise. However, dual-loop has the disadvantage of center frequency mismatch and requiring an extra loop. In this paper, we propose a new structure that supports a range of 800Mhz ~ 3Ghz with multiple control of the single-loop frequency synthesizer without another loop. The control voltage of the VCO(coarse, fine) will be fixed, and finally the VCO will have a low Kvco. The frequency synthesizer is simulated using UMC $0.11{\mu}m$ process, proposed frequency synthesizer can be used in a variety of applications in the future.

        추골동맥에 의해 발생한 전정발작 1예

        Vestibular paroxysmia, which is caused by neurovascular cross-compression of the eighth cranial nerve, is characterized by recurrent vertiginous spells and other audiologic symptoms such as tinnitus, aural fullness and hearing impairment. Magnetic resonance image may show the eighth cranial nerve compression by vessels in the posterior fossa such as the anterior-inferior cerebellar, posterior-inferior cerebellar, basilar, or vertebral arteries. Medical therapy including carbamazepine, phenytoin or gabapentin and microvascular decompression of the eighth cranial nerve can be contemplated. Here, we report of a 51 year-old man who presented with recurrent vertigo attacks and tinnitus. His symptoms were aggravated by positional change. Videonystagmography and auditory brainstem response showed abnormal results. Magnetic resonance image showed the eighth cranial nerve compression caused by the vascular loop. The offending vessel was revealed as vertebral artery. He was treated with carbamazepine and showed no recurrent symptoms. We report this rare case with a review of the relevant literatures.

        이관 골부의 정맥 카테터 삽입수술을 통한 이관개방증의 치료 효과

        Patulous Eustachian tube is a benign, but bothersome condition, which can cause severe physical and psychological problems. We investigated the clinical features and the therapeutic result of the surgery in three patients, whose patulous Eustachian tube symptom were treated by the surgical insertion of a specially designed, tripod-tipped-bone wax-filled angiocatheter into the bony orifice of the Eustachian tube. Immediate disappearance of the troublesome symptoms was observed in all six patients. No serious complications were observed during the follow-up period. Factors considered for this surgical therapy and the method of designing our specific angiocatheter are introduced in detail. Surgical therapy for patients with serious patulous Eustachian tube symptoms by inserting the tripod-tipped-bone wax-filled angiocatheter seemed promising. Further studies on its long-term therapeutic effects might be necessary using a large number of the patients. Korean J Otorhinolaryngol-Head Neck Surg 2014;57:54-60

        전압제어 링 발진기용 저-면적 듀티 사이클 보정 회로

        Recently, many technologies have been developed to realize low power high speed digital data communication and one of them is related to duty cycle correction. In this paper, a low-area duty cycle correction circuit for a voltage-controlled ring generator is proposed. The duty cycle correction circuit is a circuit that corrects the duty cycle using a 180 degree phase difference of a voltage controlled ring oscillator. The proposed low-area duty cycle circuit changes a conventional flip-flop to a true single phase clocking (TSPC) flip-flop And a low-area high-performance circuit is realized. By using TSPC flip-flop instead of general flip-flop, it is possible to realize low-area circuit compared to existing circuit, and it is expected to be used for high-performance circuit for low-power because it is easy to operate at high speed.

        듀티 사이클 보정이 가능한 멀티 클럭 제너레이터

        In this paper, we introduce the clock duty correction circuit (DCC), which is a core technology of the clocking circuit required for high-speed SoC. The problem of the conventional non feedback DCC which has mismatch of the XOR and the phase inversion by the initial value is explained, and a new structure of the non feedback DCC circuit is proposed. The proposed DCC circuit has the advantage of using less circuit area compared to the conventional non feedback DCC circuit.

        클록 데이터 복원 회로가 없는 보조채널을 이용한 양방향 통신

        As the data transmission speed increases, the source transmits the clock and data together, and the CDR(Clock Data Recovery) of the sink restores the clock Some communication schemes include unidirectional channels that transmit data from sink to source, or bidirectional channels between source and sink. However, the bidirectional channel transmits data at a relatively low speed as compared with the unidirectional channel, and additional circuitry is required to separately generate the transmission clock. In this paper, we propose a new bidirectional communication method that does not require a CDR circuit to recover the transmitted data from the source using the clock recovered from the sink. As a result, it becomes possible to utilize a unidirectional channel as a bidirectional channel without increasing the additional circuit area and power consumption at the source.

        고속 데이터 통신을 위한 주 채널의 유휴시간을 활용한 보조데이터 통신 방법

        In the case of the high-speed serial data transmission method, the unidirectional main channel is mainly used. However, in order to overcome the disadvantages of this method, an auxiliary channel capable of bidirectional communication is used. In this paper, we propose a method to maintain the clock of the sink to serve as the auxiliary channel by utilizing the idle time of the main channel, and also propose a bidirectional communication technique using this method. During idle time, the sink's clock-retention device is used to send data to the source and the source can detect the data with the over-sampling technique. As a result, this approach can reduce the EMI / EMC and does not require additional circuit area and power consumption.

        The Apartment Defect Dispute Mediation Committee of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport received as many as 7,686 complaints regarding defects in 2021, and the conflict caused by these disputes on the defects is worsening. A quality inspection team system was established in January 2021 to address the deepening conflict, and this system prevented the emergence of defects in apartment houses before the residents moved in. Quality inspections were conducted based on the Housing Act standards, but the reality is that the standards for the ordinances are not systematic. Based on the analysis of the ordinances by the apartment quality inspection team, 23 out of 226 local governments utilized the quality inspection teams, and they had different standards for the quality inspection subjects and inspection periods. In addition, the inspection standards for the defect checklists used by the apartment quality inspection teams operated by local governments varied. A survey was conducted by apartment quality experts to tackle this problem and proposed improvement plans for the defect checklists used for the quality inspection of apartment houses.

        Defects caused by apartment houses have the term of warranty liability according to the enforcement ordinance of Acts of the Management of Apartment Houses. In case when defects occur during the term, free defect maintenance can be provided from the construction company. Yet, there occur conflicts between the construction company and residents, as to whether there occur defects or not. To resolve these conflicts, this study aimed to analyze construction classification and types that need managing, based on defects of apartment houses occurring during the term of warranty liability. This research analyzed 138,576 cases of data, as of five apartment house complexes. For the construction classification for defects of apartment houses, wooden flooring products accounted for the highest rate, followed by paper hanging, and wooden window. For the construction types of defects, torn/scratching took up with the highest rate, followed by the condition of defect in fixing and operating. In order to embody defects occurring during the term of warranty liability, into the visualization technique, this researcher utilized the word cloud method. This study will pursue the method for maintaining defects during the term of warranty liability, in the subsequent research, using the data that this research presented.
