니켈을 담지한 나노탄소섬유를 이용한 Crotonaldehyde 액상 수소화 반응

The carbon nanofibers were prepared by catalytic chemical vapor deposition of gas mixtures of CO-H₂with Fe and Ni-Cu catalysts respectively. To examine the catalytic behavior of carbon nanofiber supported nickel particles in liquid-phase hydrogenation of crotonaldehyde, Ni was supported on the carbon nanofibers and hydrogenation of crotonaldehyde was performed with the catalysts. The conversion of crotonaldehyde over nanofiber supported Ni catalysts decreased as temperature increased, while the selectivities of crotyl alcohol and butanol increased but that of butanal decreased in most cases. The selectivity of crotyl alcohol and butanal increased with the lapse of time, while that of butanol decreased. Enhanced selectivity and yield toward crotyl alcohol formation from the hydrogenation of crotonaldehyde were obtained over Ni/Nanofiber(Fe/CO) catalyst.
