이 연구는 구글과 네이버 트랜드 지수를 활용하여 국내 태권도 종목에 대한 관심 추이를 확인하는 것이 목적이다. 구글과 네이버 트랜드 지수를 2016년 1월부터 2019년 12월까지에 대한 자료를 활용하였으며, 태권도의 관심도에 대해 선수들의 영향력 정도를 알아보기 위해 리우올림픽 태권도(겨루기) 메달리스트와 자카르타 팔레방 아시안게임 태권도(겨루기, 품새) 금메달리스트의 트랜드 지수를 수집하였다. 또한, 2016년부터 2019년까지 태권도 관심도가 가장 높은 시기의 주요 관심 내용이 무엇인가를 확인하기 위해 관심도가 가장 높은 시점의 언론기사를 수집하였다. 자료처리는 연구자료의 척도화와 가중평균을 산출하기 위해 MS-Excel을 활용하였으며, 태권도의 관심도에 대해서 선수들의 영향력 정도를 알아보기 위해 태권도 트랜드 지수와 선수의 트랜드 지수간에 상관분석(pearson r)을 실시하였다. 상관분석은 IBM SPSS 25.0버전을 활용하였으며, 통계적 유의수준은 .05로 설정하였다. 또한 태권도 관심도가 가장 높은 시기의 주요 관심 내용이 무엇인가를 확인하기 위해 관심도가 가장 높은 시점의 언론기사를 대상으로 텍스트마이닝을 실시하였다. 그결과 2016년 1월부터 2019년 12월까지 태권도 관심도가 가장 높았던 시기는 2016년 8월 3주차로 나타났으며, 구글과 네이버 모두에서 검색어 통계치 100으로 가장 높게 나타났다. 두 번째로 관심도가 높았던 시기는 2018년 8월 3주차로 나타났으며, 통합트랜드 지수 12.2(구글: 32, 네이버: 9.6)로 나타났다. 2016년 8월 3주차는 리우올림픽 태권도 경기가 있었던 시기이며, 2018년 8월 3주차는 자카르타 팔레방 아시안게임 태권도 경기가 있었던 시기로 확인되었다. 둘째, 태권도의 관심도에 대해서 선수들의 영향력 정도를 알아본 결과 김0희, 김0훈, 오0리, 이0훈, 차0민 선수가 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 2016년부터 2019년까지 태권도 관심도가 가장 높았던 시기는 2016년 8월 3주차 리우올림픽 기간으로 나타났다. This study is to confirm interest trend about domestic Taekwondo using trend index in Google and Naver. we used trend index in Google and Naver from January 2016 to December 2019, and collected the trend index of the Taekwondo(Gyeorugi) medalist at the Rio Olympics and the gold medalist of the Taekwondo(Gyeorugi, Poomsae) at the Jakarta Palembang Asian Games to find out the degree of influence of athletes on Taekwondo’s interest level. Also, we collected news articles at the time of highest interest to confirm what is the main content of interest during the period of highest interest in Taekwondo from 2016 to 2019. For data processing, MS-Excel was used to scale the research data and calculate the weighted average, and a correlation analysis(pearson r) was performed between the trend index of Taekwondo and trend index of players to determine the degree of influence of athletes on the interest level of Taekwondo. IBM SPSS 25.0 version was used for correlation analysis, and the statistical significance level was set to .05. The period of greatest interest in Taekwondo from January 2016 to December 2019 was the 3rd week of August 2016, and it was the highest in terms of trend index 100 in both Google and Naver. The period of second highest interest was the 3rd week of August 2018, and the total trend index was 12.2. The 3rd week of August 2016 was the time of the Rio Olympics Taekwondo match, and the 3rd week of August 2018 was the time of the Jakarta Palembang Asian Games Taekwondo match. Second, as a result of examining the degree of influence of the players on the degree of interest in Taekwondo, it was found that players Kim 0 Hee, Kim 0 Hoon, Oh 0 Ri, Lee 0 Hoon, and Cha 0 Min have an influence. Third, the period of greatest interest in Taekwondo from 2016 to 2019 was the 3rd week of the August 2016 during Rio Olympic Games.
