유아의 수줍은 기질과 활동적 기질이 부부갈등에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 유아의 수줍은 기질과 활동적 기질이 부부갈등에 미치는 영향에서 유아의 정서조절능력의 매개효과를 밝히는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 만 4∼5세 유아와 그들의 어머니 342명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 17.0과 AMOS 16.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석했다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 수줍은 기질은 정서조절능력과 정적 상관관계를 보였으나 부부갈등과는 부적 상관관계가 있었다. 그리고 유아의 활동적 기질은 정서조절능력과 부적 상관관계가 나타났으나 부부갈등과는 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 또한, 유아의 정서조절능력은 부부갈등과 부적 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 유아의 수줍은 기질과 부부갈등 간의 관계에서 유아의 정서조절능력은 완전 매개변수로서 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 유아의 활동적 기질과 부부갈등 간의 관계에서 유아의 정서조절능력은 부분 매개변수로서 역할을 하였다. 본 연구결과는 유아의 정서조절능력이 유아의 기질과 부부갈등을 매개하는 주요한 요인임을 시사한다. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the mediating effect of children’s emotional regulation ability within the relationship between children’s shyness temperament and activity temperament with marital conflict. For this study, 342 mothers of children aged between 4 to and 5 in Seoul and Gyeonggi provinces were selected as subjects. The collected data were analyzed by structure equation model analysis using SPSS 17.0 and AMOS 16.0 program. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was a positive correlation between children’s shyness temperament and emotional regulation, but a negative correlation between children’s shyness temperament and marital conflict. Also, there was a negative correlation between children’s activity temperament and emotional regulation, but a positive correlation between children’s activity temperament and marital conflict. Moreover, there was a negative correlation between children’s emotional regulation and marital conflict. Second, children’s emotional regulation had a perfect significant effect in relationship between children"s shyness temperament and marital conflict, and children’s emotional regulation was found to be a partial parameter in the relationship between children"s activity temperament and marital conflict. The results of this study indicates that children’s emotional regulation ability act as a mediator between children’s temperament and marital conflict.
