부모 및 자녀의 배경변수와 아동학대의 관계에 대한 메타분석

본 연구의 목적은 메타분석을 사용하여 아동학대의 배경변수인 부모의 특성, 아동 특성과의 관계를 확인하여 효과크기를 밝히고자 하였다. 분석대상 논문은 2001년부터 2015년 사이의 국내에서 발행된 연구논문을 수집하였으며 학위논문 63편, 학술지 논문 24편, 총 87편의 논문을 최종 분석하였다. 자료의 분석은 CMA(Comprehensive Meta Analysis, V3)를 활용하였다. 학대관련 변수들을 분류하기 위해 87편의 상관연구논문에서 추출된 877개의 변수수준 효과크기를 추출하였다. 연구결과, 부모특성 부적 배경변수 전체효과크기 .274로, 부모특성 비부적 배경변수 전체효과크기 -.105로 작은 효과크기를 보였다. 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 부모특성 배경변수 별 우선순위는 양육태도(-.311), 부부갈등(.223), 스트레스(.241) 순으로 아동학대와 관련 다른 배경변수에 비해 높은 효과크기로 확인되었다. 양육태도는 정적양육태도일 때 학대발생률이 낮았으며, 부적 양육태도일수록 학대발생률이 높았다. 아동특성의 전체연구의 효과크기는 총 163개로 학대와 아동특성간의 조절효과는 .034로 작은 효과크기를 나타내며 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 아동특성 배경변수는 성별(.075), 아동건강(-.097), 학업성취(-.102) 순으로 부모특성 배경변수와는 다르게 작은 효과크기를 보였다. 아동학대가 부모특성의 영향을 좀 더 많이 받고 있음을 알 수 있다. 연구결과의 함의를 논의한 후 아동학대 배경변수에 대한 시사점을 제안하였다. This study aimed to investigate the background of child abuse and to evaluate children's responses after experiencing child abuse. For the study, dissertations on child abuse since 2001 until 2015 have been searched to proceed with the research effectively: and analyzed comprehensively in terms of the relevant variables of child abuse through meta-analysis, which were a total of 87 dissertations and 877 variables. In this paper, the background of child abuse was classified as background variables; and background variables were categorized as parental characteristics and children characteristics. The results showed that parenting behavior had the biggest effect among background variables of parental characteristics. The more positive parenting behavior was, the lower abuses were; the more negative parenting behavior was, the higher abuses were. The findings also revealed that academic achievement had the biggest effect among background variables of children characteristics. The higher academic achievement was, the lower abuses were; the lower academic achievement was, the higher abuses were. On the basis of the analysis, the findings suggested what is a significant social role in order to arrange for concrete measures to prevent child abuse. It is also suggested how children‘s rights can be protected by identifying the influence and the response of child abuse.
