빅데이터 분석을 활용한 태권도공연 인식 변화 분석: 코로나19를 기준으로

요약본 연구는 빅데이터를 활용하여 코로나19 이전과 코로나19 이후 태권도공연에 대한 대중의 인식 변화를 분석하고 태권도공연 산업 발전에 기초자료를 제공하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 코로나19 이전 2016년 1월 1일부터 2019년 12월 31일과 코로나19 발병 이후인 2020년 1월 1일부터 2023년 12월 31일까지 수집기간으로 선정하였으며, ‘태권도공연’으로 키워드를 선정하여 네이버(Naver)와 다음(Daum)의 수집채널을 통해 빅데이터 자료를 수집하였다. Textom과 Ucinet 6.0을 활용하여 빈도분석, TF-IDF, 연결중심성 분석, 의미연결망 분석, CONCOR 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 코로나19 이전에는 태권도, 공연, 시범, 일시, 세계 순으로 나타났으며, 코로나19 이후에는 태권도, 공연, 일시, 태권도시범, 시범 순으로 나타났다. CONCOR 분석결과, 코로나19 이전은 남북 태권도 합동시범, 태권도공연 관람 및 체험, 어린이 대상 주요 공연, 태권도시범공연대회 4개의 군집으로 분류되었으며, 코로나19 이후에는 문화예술행사, 비대면공연 영상, 코로나19 영향, 세계태권도연맹, 태권도원 공연으로 5개 군집이 형성되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 태권도공연에 대한 대중들의 인식과 반응을 파악할 수 있었으며 태권도공연 시장과 관련한 시사점 및 제언을 제시하였다. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to analyze the changes in public perception of‘Taekwondo Performance’before COVID-19 and after COVID-19 using big data and provide fundamental data for the development of the Taekwondo Performance industry. For this study, we selected the collection period from January 1, 2016, to December 31, 2019, pre-COVID-19, and and from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2023, COVID-19 outbreak. We specifically focused on the keyword 'Taekwondo Performance' to collect big data using Naver and Daum's collection channels. The study utilized Textom and Ucinet 6.0 to conduct frequency analysis, TF-IDF, semantic network analysis, and CONCOR analysis. The results of the analysis showed that before COVID-19, taekwondo, performance, demonstration, temporary, and world were in the following order, while after COVID-19, taekwondo, performance, temporary, taekwondo demonstration, and demonstration were in the following order. As a result of CONCOR analysis, before COVID-19, four clusters were categorized as follows: North-South Taekwondo joint demonstration, watching and experiencing Taekwondo performances, major performances for children, and Taekwondo demonstration competitions. After COVID-19, five clusters were formed: cultural events, non-face-to-face performance videos, COVID-19 impact, WF, and Taekwondowon performances. Based on these findings, we were able to identify the public's perceptions and reactions to taekwondo performances and suggest implications and recommendations for the taekwondo performance market.

이 연구는 태권도 융복합 공연의 도전과 과제를 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있었다. 이에 따라 태권도 융복합 공연의 제작자 2인, 배우 2인, 관객 2인을 선정하여 심층면담을 실시하였고, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 제작자의 관점에서 태권도 융복합 공연의 도전과 과제는 다양한 무대장치의 도입이 가능하도록 제도적인 여건 마련과 태권도 스 타배출을 위한 연기수업 프로그램이 필요하다고 나타났다. 둘째, 배우의 관점에서 태권도 융복합 공연의 도전과 과제는 배우들이 융복합 기술을 이해할 수 있도록 사전교육이 이루어져야 하고, 태권도 전문 연출가가 요구된다고 한다. 셋째, 관객의 관점에서 태권도 융복합 공연의 도전과 과제는 태권도의 예술적 가치를 부각시킬 수 있는 퍼포먼스로 발전하는 것과 공연의 주제를 쉬운 소재로 선정하고, 소극장 공연이 활성화되어야 한다고 나타났다. 앞으로 태권도 융복합 공연의 발전은 기술적인 측면과 예술적인 측면의 절묘한 조화로 인해 완성될 것으로 전망된다. 태권도 융복합 공연이 한국의 문화예술콘텐츠 및 국위선양을 위한 한류문화로 자리매김하기 위해서는 정부와 관련기관의 적극적인 관심과 지원이 요 구되는 시점이라고 생각된다. The objective of the study is to identify challenges and tasks of Taekwondo convergence performance. For this, 2 producers, 2 actors and 2 spectators of Taekwondo convergence performance were selected for in-depth interviews, and the result is as follows: First, from the producers’ perspective, it was revealed that institutional conditions and acting training programs for producing Taekwondo stars are necessary to introduce various stage settings. Second, from the actors’ viewpoint, it is required to provide prior training for improving understanding of convergence techniques and nurture Taekwondo-specialized experts. Third, from the viewpoint of audience, it is necessary to develop performances that can highlight artistic values of Taekwondo, choose easy performance topics and vitalize performance in small theaters. In the future, it is expected that Taekwondo convergence performance will be completed through an exquisite balance between technical and artistic aspects. In order for Taekwondo convergence performance to position itself as a kind of Korean cultural and artistic contents and Korean Wave for enhancing national prestige, active interest and support by the government and related organizations are required.

태권춤새(舞)의 음악에 관한 연구

오늘날 태권춤새는 태권체조, 태권로빅, 태권댄스 등과 같이 명확한 구분없이 각종 대회에서 표현되는 동작구성과 배경음악에 따라 개명되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 올바른 태권춤새 음악제작에 있어 우리음악의 당위성에 대해 논의해 보면 다음과 같다. 우리의 역사와 전통, 문화의 하나인 우리음악은 아름다운 소리의 율동과 춤으로 자신만의 독특한 세계를 전하고 있다. 이토록 위대한 문화유산을 보유하고 있음에도 불구하고 서양음악의 이해와 그 서양음악 속에서 요동치는 태권의 몸짓은 어불성설(語不成說)이라고 말 할 수 있다. 또한 태권도는 한국토착문화에서 형성된 우리 음악 위에 표현되어질 때 비로소 완전한 한국의 국기인 태권도의 몸짓 즉 태권도 정신의 예술적 표현인 태권춤새가 될 것이다. 또한 우리음악이 지니는 풍부한 정서는 한국인의 바람직한 인간상을 마련하기에 충분하다. 즉 태권춤새의 배경음악은 반드시 우리 고유 음악위에 만들어져야 한다. 이렇듯 태권도가 세계화 시대에 고유성을 지키고 과거 반세기만의 이룬 태권도 외교 입지를 성공적으로 굳히기 위해서는 태권춤새와 같은 연구와 그 배경으로 우리 음악의 이해와 토대위에 다시금 세워져야 할 것이다.

중국 태권도의 발전과 정체성 논의

이 연구는 중국 태권도의 발전에 관한 도입 및 성장과정을 상세히 기술하여 과거와 오늘을 되짚어 봄으로써 중국 태권도의 발전과 정체성에 대해 논의하였다. 중국 태권도는 체계적인 관리시스템과 국가의 과감한 지원이 바탕이 되어 15년의 짧은 역사 속에서 급격한 성장과 발전을 이루었다. 그러나 여자선수들만의 편향적 육성과 겨루기 경기에 편중육성하고 있다는 비판적 우려와 마주할 때, 이것은 곧 승리와 결과중심에만 몰두하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 중국 태권도 관계자들이나 선수들은 태권도가 가지고 있는 진정한 내재적 가치의 중요함을 잊은 채 ‘승리지상주의’의 외형적 성장만을 추구하고 있다. 과학화에 따른 기계론적 승리지상주의만이 팽배하고 철학적 사고가 결여된 무도로서의 주체를 확립하지 못한 태권도는 탁월한 선수가 아무리 많다할지라도 그 위상을 얻지 못할 것이다. 단시일 내에 이룬 급격한 기술적 성장에 비하여 중국 태권도의 정체성을 위한 노력이 늦은 감은 있지만, 미래에는 정체성 강화와 함께 도(道)를 주체로 하는 스포츠맨십의 내재적 가치를 확립해야 할 것이다. 그 결과로 중국 태권도는 외형적ㆍ내재적 성장을 꾀할 수 있을 것이며, 아름다운 미래를 보장받을 수 있을 것이다. In this study, the introduction and development processes of Chinese Taekwondo have been described in detail. Also, its past and present have been compared, while discussions have been carried out in terms of its development and identity. Based on the systematic controlling system and the decisive support of the government, Chinese Taekwondo has been rapidly developed and grown through its short history of 15 years. However, by considering the critical concern that only female athletes have been biasedly nurtured while there has been a great focus on the aspect of competition, it is possible to know that Chinese Taekwondo has been only related with victories and results. The people involved in Chinese Taekwondo together with the athletes seem to be ignorant of the importance of the true intrinsic value of Taekwondo. It seems that they only pursue the extrinsic growth of the ‘victory-oriented idealism’. Only the mechanical ‘victory-oriented idealism’is overflowing based on the scientific process in regard to Taekwondo without any established moral standard. There seems to be lack of philosophical ideas. By considering such a state, it can be said that there would not be any athlete who could contribute to the establishment of a high status, even if there are many excellent athletes. In regard to the effort for the identity of Chinese Taekwondo, it would be necessary to try to expose an intrinsic value of sportsmanship based on the moral standard by strengthening such an identity further by considering that Chinese Taekwondo has been developed based on rapid mechanical development. By providing such effort, it would be possible to promote extrinsic and intrinsic development of Chinese Taekwondo with the establishment of its own characteristics.

태권도 품새경기에서 비디오판독의 당위성

This study discusses the duty of instant replay in Poomsae competitions. Current instant replay in Poomsae competitions are allowed upon request right after the competitions, and there is a lack of game regulations regarding instant replay. Therefore, to secure fairness and correction of a bad call by a referee, introduction of instant replay was emphasized, and relevant problems and improvement methods have been discussed. First, to secure the objectivity of Poomsae competitions, a map of human body needs to be included, ideas must be collected openly, and the ratio of subjective thoughts should be minimized. Second, to secure consistency of the referees’ judgments, referees should intend elitism, and scoring items must be clearly classified with level of difficulty and completeness. Third, to provide an excellent scoring system, a new scoring item must be established that can be used to evaluate kicks based on their level of difficulties and susceptibility of Poomsae movements. Another solution is to score athletes one by one on absolute evaluation throughout the tournament. Like this, distrust on referees’ judgment can be eliminated, and a standard to recover trusty is set. Hence, detailed guidelines and evaluation items regarding the introduction of instant replay is only possible through insight and cooperation of professionals. Sooner the instant replay is introduced, the better referees’ judgements are trusted, and fairness of the game as well. This will also further globalization of Poomsae competitions in Asian Games and Olympics. 이 연구는 태권도 품새경기에서 비디오판독의 당위성에 대한 논의이다. 현재 품새경기의 비디오판독은 경기직후 소청에만 적용되어 있으며, 첨단장비에 힘입어 공정성 확보에 필수가 된 비디오판독에 대한 경기규정은 미흡하다. 따라서 심판의 오심정정 및 공정성을 확보하기 위한 방안으로 비디오판독 도입을 강조하였으며, 이를 위한 사전논의와 조치로써 경기규칙에 대한 문제점과 개선방안을 논의하였다. 첫째, 품새 경기규칙의 객관성을 확보하기 위해 인체도 첨부, 공개적으로 의견을 수렴하는 것과 주관적인 견해의 비중을 최소화시키는 것이다. 둘째, 심판의 채점기준에 대한 일관성 유지를 위해 품새심판을 소수정예화하고, 동작의 난이도와 완성도를 세분화시킨 평가항목 도입과 정확성과 표현성의 채점항목을 명확하게 분류한다. 셋째, 발차기의 수준별 난이도를 구분하는 것과 품새동작의 기준을 평가할 수 있는 채점항목 신설, 토너먼트로 한 선수씩 절대평가로 채점하는 방식을 제시하였다. 이와 같이 품새경기에서 비디오판독 도입을 위한 조치가 반영될 때 심판판정의 불신을 애초에 제거할 수 있고 심판의 신뢰를 회복할 수 있는 기준을 마련할 수 있다. 따라서 비디오판독 도입을 위한 세부적 지침 및 평가항목의 규칙개정은 전문가들의 깊이 있는 통찰과 협의를 통해서만이 가능하다. 그러므로 비디오판독 도입의 시기가 빠르면 빠를수록 공정한 경기에 대한 신뢰로부터 힘을 얻을 수 있을 것이며, 나아가 아시안 게임과 올림픽을 위한 품새경기의 세계화에 한걸음 다가설 수 있을 것이다.

태권도 자유 품새 음악에 대한 의미 고찰

Of the Poomsae events in Taekwondo, the Freestyle Poomsae is uniquely accompanied by music and presents a variety of unpredictable technical movements. Music introduced in the Freestyle Poomsae, in particular, promotes emotional communication and serves as a chance for the Freestyle Poomsae to receive greater responses from the audience. There is a recent need for basic data about the meanings and selection of music in the Freestyle Poomsae in Taekwondo. This study thus set out to investigate the meanings of the Freestyle Poomsae and its music and reached the following conclusions: first, there are three Poomsae events in Taekwondo, and they are Authorized, New, and Freestyle Poomsae; second, music introduced in the Freestyle Poomsae in Taekwondo is in harmony with overall Poomsae movements; third, music delivers the messages of creative Freestyle Poomsae in Taekwondo; fourth, the Freestyle Poomsae has artistry added to it through music in Taekwondo; and finally, the Freestyle Poomsae of Taekwondo contains the values of performance art. A set of guidelines should be established to promote the understanding of music and figure out the types of emotional responses to music for the effective selection of music in the Freestyle Poomsae. 태권도 자유 품새는 품새 경기 종목 중 유일하게 음악과 함께 진행되며, 다양한 예측불허의 기술 동작이 이루어진다. 특히 자유 품새에 도입된 음악은 감성적 소통의 역할을 하며, 자유 품새가 더욱 관중들에게 큰 호응을 받는 계기로 작용하고 있다. 그래서 최근 태권도 자유 품새 음악의 의미 및 음악 선정에 대한 기초적인 자료의 필요성이 제기되었다. 이에 따라 이 연구는 태권도 자유 품새와 음악에 대한 의미를 고찰하는데 그 목적이 있었으며, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 현재 태권도 품새 경기의 종목은 공인 품새, 새 품새, 자유 품새로 구분할 수 있다. 둘째, 태권도 자유 품새의 음악 도입은 전체적인 품새 동작과 어울림의 조화를 야기한다. 셋째, 태권도 자유 품새의 음악은 창작된 자유 품새의 메시지를 전달하는 역할을 한다. 넷째, 태권도 자유 품새는 음악을 통해 예술성을 가미하게 되었다. 다섯째, 태권도 자유 품새는 공연예술의 가치를 지니고 있다. 앞으로 효과적인 자유 품새의 음악 선정을 위해서 음악의 이해와 더불어 음악이 지닌 정서적 반응의 유형을 파악할 수 있는 가이드라인이 구축되어야 할 것이다.

태권도학과 경쟁력 강화를 위한 중국진출의 방향

이 연구는 태권도학과 경쟁력 강화를 위한 중국진출의 방향을 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 4년제 태 권도학과 교수 2인과 중국 태권도 전문가 2인을 선정하여 심층면담을 실시하였고, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫 째, 글로벌 역량 부문에는 대한민국의 국위선양, 태권도의 위상제고, 중국의 대학교 및 중국 내의 태권도 관련기관과 MOU체결이 기대된다. 둘째, 해외 취업률 부문에는 태권도학과 교육과정의 개편, 인턴십의 연계, 글로벌 인재 양성에 주목해야 된다. 셋째, 외국인 입학전형 부문에는 정기적인 세미나 및 교육 실시, 태권도학과 홈페이지에 중국어 탑재, 외 국인들을 위한 기숙사 및 어학교육 마련되어야 한다. 앞으로 태권도학과는 국내뿐만 아니라 세계적인 무대에서 태권도 의 가치를 올바르게 전파하고, 창의적인 사고를 기반으로 하여 태권도를 선도해 나갈 글로벌 인재를 양성해야 한다. 특 히 우리나라와 같은 아시아권에 위치하고 있으며, 거리적으로 가까워 접근성이 용이한 중국시장은 그 활용가치가 매우 유용할 것으로 전망된다. The objective of the study is to investigate directions of entering China to strengthen competitiveness of Taekwondo departments. For this, the study selected 2 professors from 4-year Taekwondo departments and 2 Chines experts in Taekwondo for in-depth interviews, and the result is as follows: First, as for global capacity for strengthening competitiveness of Taekwondo departments, it was revealed that enhancing Korean national prestige, improving the status of Taekwondo and concluding MOUs with universities and Taekwondo-related organizations in China were expected. Second, in terms of the overseas employment rate for strengthening competitiveness of Taekwondo departments, restructuring curricula of Taekwondo departments, linking with internship programs and nurturing global talents were emphasized. Third, when it comes to Taekwondo college entrance examination for foreigners to strengthen competitiveness of Taekwondo departments, developing regular seminars and training programs, providing Chinese on website of Taekwondo departments and preparing dormitories for foreigners and language education are necessary. In the future, Taekwondo departments need to disseminate the right value of Taekwondo at home and abroad and produce global talents who would lead the future of Taekwondo with creative thinking. Especially, China that is located in the same Asian region and has close accessibility to Korea is expected to become a very useful case in the study.
