최근 미국은 백인종 중심의 전투기 조종사 집단이 점차 인종적 다양성이 증가함에 따라 미국공군은 인체 다양성을 수용하기 위한 새로운 전투기 조종실 설계 인체기준이 수립하였다. 새로운 인체모델은 기존 단일 인종의 특징을 반영한 균일 비율 (Percentile) 인체모델과 달리 다변량 (Multivariate) 통계기법이 적용되었다. 본 연구는 한국공군 조종사의 인체실측을 통해 개발된 T-50 고등훈련기 수출을 위해 다변량 인체모델을 컴퓨터 모델링 프로그램을 이용한 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과는 조종실 물리적 형상 (Geometry)은 다변량 인체모델의 수용이 가능하였으나, 러더페달 위치 조절범위는 큰 인체모델이 경우 충분하지 못함을 확인하였다. 향후 양산형 항공기 조종실의 러더페달 조작성 개선을 위해 다양한 개선방안에 대한 지속적인 비교분석연구가 수행될 것이다. As a fighter pilot group of existing central white race gradually increasing ethnic diversity recently, the United States Air Force has established a new anthropometric standard for fighter cockpit design to accommodate human diversity. This new human model that multivariate model statistical techniques were applied is unlike the uniform rated percentile human model to reflect the characteristics of an existing single race. This study was achieved multivariate analysis using a computer modeling program to model the human body for the T-50 advanced trainer export developed with measuring the actual body size of the Korea Air Force pilot. The results showed the current cockpit physical geometry verify the most of requirements to accommodate a multivariate model, except the rudder pedal position adjustment range is insufficient on the big sized human model. Future research will be carried out ongoing the trade-off study through the analysis to improve the operability of the rudder pedal on the production aircraft.
