중국 대학 한국어 전공 학습자를 위한 한국 문화 수업 연구 : ‘한국 사회와 문화’ 교재 개발을 위한 주제 선정을 중심으로

최근 중국의 대학 교육에서 사정(思政)교육이 강조되면서 한국어 전공자의 입장에서 한국어뿐만 아니라 한국사회와 문화에 대한 전반적인 이해와 지식습득이 필요로 하게 되었고 이에 따라 ‘한국 사회와 문화’라는 교과목이주목을 받고 있다. 이러한 점을 고려하여 본 연구에서는 문화 중심의 언어 통합 교육 측면의 ‘내용 중심 교수법’에주목하였고, 이를 통한 ‘한국 사회와 문화’ 수업의 가능성을 타진하기 위해 ‘한국 사회와 문화’ 수업 내용의 주제를 연구하고자 한다. 연구 방법으로는 설문조사 방법과 집단 심층 면접, 교재 분석을 사용했다. 첫 번째 설문조사방식으로 4년제 대학의 한국 문화 교과목의 ‘개설과목명’, ‘개설 시기’, ‘학점’, ‘교재’ 등의 각 대학의 개설 현황을알아보고 두 번째 교수자의 집단 심층 면접을 통해 ‘한국 사회와 문화’ 수업에 따른 문제점에 대해서도 파악하였다. 세 번째로 각 대학에서 사용하고 있는 교재와 최근 중국 내에 출판된 교재 중 5개를 선정하여 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구 방법을 통해 ‘한국 사회와 문화’라는 교과목에서 한국어 전공 학습자가 알아야 할 항목과 적합한 ‘주제’ 15가지를 최종 선정했다. 15개의 주제는 ‘한국 사회와 문화’ 교과목에서 필수적으로 다루어야하는 내용으로 파악하여 향후 국외 대학에서 한국어를 전공하는 학습자들의 한국 사회와 문화의 이해를 높이기위한 교과 과정이나 교재를 개발하는 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. As assessments for education have recently been emphasized in Chinese university, Korean language learners are required to have the overall understanding and knowledge on Korean society and culture as well as Korean language. Accordingly the subject “Korean society and culture” has been drawing attention. Given this, this study aims to study the contents of the “Korean Society and Culture” to figure out the potentials of classes related to “Korean Society and Culture” through a content-oriented approach based on integrated culture-oriented language education. The survey method and analysis of textbook were used as FGI, analysis of textbooks and research methods. As the first survey method, ‘what the subject title is’, ‘when the class opens’, ‘how many credits are’, ‘teachers’, and ‘textbooks’ in a-four-year course university’s Korean culture curriculum were to be identified, secondly, the problems of ‘Korean society and culture’ classes were also to be determined through the instructors’ Focus Group Interview. Thirdly, textbooks used by each university and five among the recently published textbooks utilized were selected and analyzed. Through these three research methods, the things that Korean language learners should know and 15 proper topics for them were finally chosen in the subject “Korean Society and Culture.” The 15 topics are considered essential in the “Korean Society and Culture” subject and can be used as fundamental data for developing curriculum (content-oriented approach) or textbook to enhance the understanding of Korean society and culture for learners who major in Korean at universities overseas.
