국내 생명과학 관련 문헌정보는 PubMed와 같은 세계적인 의학 관련 문헌정보 서비스 목록에 8종 정도가 포함되어 있으며, 국내에 있는 문헌정보들도 여러 기관 산하 여러 개의 데이터베이스로 흩어져 있는 실정이다. 이에 생명과학 관련 연구정보의 신속한 획득을 위해 생명과학 관련 문헌정보를 하나로 통합하여 서비스하는 것이 필요하다는 바이오인포매틱스 센터 홈페이지 이용자들의 요구로 Open Access가 가능한 생명과학 관련 문헌정보를 수집하여 메타데이터 레지스트리를 구축하고 이용자들에게 서비스하고자 한다. 또한 생명과학 관련 주제별 Open Archiving Community를 구성하여 그 운영을 통한 연구자들 간의 정보교환을 유도하고, 더불어 논문뿐만 아니라 세미나 발표자료, 연구 노트, 연구보고서 등의 최신의 연구정보를 공유할 수 있도록 생명과학 문헌정보 네트워크 프로토타입 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. The eight types of Korean bibliographic information of biology and life science are included in PubMed that serves universal medical bibliographic information. Other domestic bibliographic information are served on its own format at different organizations. To fulfill the CCBB homepage user's request that it is necessary that integration of bibliographic service for quick acquisition of research information, we intends to construct metadata registry and service about bibliographic information of biology and life science. This paper describes the design and implementation of bibliographic information network prototype for biology and life science that can be used to share latest research result, seminar presentation data, research note, and research paper etc as well as to exchange information between researchers through Open Archiving Community.
