제주도 연안역 부유성 요각류의 출현과 주요종의 계절변화

Seasonal fluctuations of species composition and abundance of pelagic copepods on the coast of Cheju Island were examined. Samples were collected from the four surface waters(Udo, Gosan, Seogwi and Cheju) of Cheju Island during the period from July 1990 to March 1994. There was considerable seasonal variation in occurance of pelagic copepods, with high values from summer to fall and low ones from winter to spring. Mean copepodid individuals showed a peak in May 1991 and 1992. Numerical abundance of copepods was observed in May and November. Copepodid and other crustacean larvae gave the evidence of active production during the period of sampling. Seventy seven species of pelagic copepods were identified, of which Paracalanus indicus, Acartia omorii, A. steueri, Oncaea venusta, Oithona plumifera, Calanus sinicus, Corycaeus affinis were main constituents. Most of these copepods are well found in Kuroshio current. P. indicus showed three peaks(early spring, early summer and early winter) in adult individuals, C. sinicus, A. steueri and O. plumifera, two peaks in winter and summer, C. affinis two peaks in spring and winter, A. omorii showed only one peak in autumn in this study area.

충무, 남해, 기장 동지에서 使用하고 있는 멸치刺網漁具에 대한 調査를 근거로 網目이 23.1㎜, 21.6㎜, 20.0㎜인 세 가지 網地로서 成形率이 각각 0.65 및 0.55가 되도록 각 1폭씩, 6폭짜리 試驗漁具를 製作하고, 울산 近海에서 釜山-404號(160◎, 800ps)로서 試驗操業(1983年 7月 28日)한 漁獲結果를 가지고서 Ishida(1962)의 方法으로 網目選擇性을 檢討한 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 漁獲尾數 161마리 중 90% 이상(148마리)이 頸周部位에서 罹網되었다. 2. 頸周 C_n(㎝) 體長 L(㎝)와의 關係는 L=1.5C_n+4.1로 表示할 수 있고 이때의 相關係數는 0.7로 나타났다. 3. 體長 L(㎝)과 適正網目 M(㎝)와의 關係는 L=4.8M으로 나타낼 수 있다. It is an important work to determine the mesh size of gill net for efficient catch. For investigating the suitable mesh size, the gill net for anchovy, Engraulis japonica was made and operated in the bay of Ulsan in July. 1983. The gill net for anchovy was composed of six different mesh size, 23.1㎜ (H=0.65), 21.6㎜ (H=0.65), 20.0㎜ (H=0.65), 23.1㎜ (H=0.55), 21.6㎜ (H=0.55) and 20.0㎜(H=0.55). The parts of body caught by the gill net was examined, and the selectivity curves (for reference Ishida's method) with respect to the each mesh size were estimated using the data obtained through the operation of research gill net. The main results of this study are as follows: 1. The number of anchovy whose neck was in net was 148, more than 90% of all, 161 2. The coefficient of relationship between the circumference of neck and the fork length were 0.70. 3. Fork length that the relative fishing efficiency of 23.1㎜ mesh size (H=0.55) was maximum value was about 11.1 centimeter.

The Relationship between the distribution of the fishing grounds of anchovy and the oceanographic conditions in the Korean Waters are investigated by using the data of the catch of anchovy by the gill net fishery (Fisheries Research and Development Agency, 1969-1982) and the oceanographic observation data (Fisheries Research and Development Agency, 1979). The main fishing ground of anchovy by the gill net fishery was five fishing areas located in the adjacent seas of Sockcho, Kryong-po, Kijang, Keoje island and Chungmu, the area of which occupies no more than 20% of all fishing grounds, and it appeared that about 80% of mean catches of fourteen years was concentrated in this area. The main fishing periods were from April to June and October to November. The coefficient of variation of the catch for the main fishing ground were from 0.3 to 0.6 and the condition of all fishing ground was generally stable. The mean CPUE was 81,2kg/sec at the main fishing ground. The annual mean catch of anchovy by the gill net was the smallest in February and the largest in May through a year. It was found that the fluctuation is related to the expansion and reduction of the isothermal line of 10��.
