The temperature of exhaust gas. was raised by increasing of engine movement on developing engine. Thermal of high temperature and pressure reverse in bellows, because of increasing of engine movement and the thermal performance of converter in combustion. As a result, thermal loss is increased and thermal efficiency is decreased rapidly in bellows, it can occur to damage in mechanical structure. In this study, it was necessary to analyze back pressure performance and thermal characteristic on driving condition in exhaust system. We adapted braid type bellows and straight type exhaust pipe. It was compared with curve type exhaust pipe for lay-out on considering to design of exhaust system It was necessary to improve thermal characteristic and back pressure performance so that exhaust cavity pipe(ECP) was installed between bellows and catalyst convert. Not only decreasing back pressure was solved but also thermal characteristic problems in exhaust pipe because of increasing capacity. We analyzed that exhaust system have an effect on engine combustion performance. According to this study, the basis of data is presented when new exhaust system is designed.

Recently, the study of variable type muffler is carrying out according to the necessity about the muffler satisfy the noise side and the performance side of engine. The active muffler is able to the structural deformation of the muffler about the backpressure variation and engine characteristics. The semi-muffler setting up the exhaust variable valve control the backpressure increase and the engine performance decrease through the valve opening in the high speed area of the engine. So it is able to maintenance the regular power performance in the area of the whole revolution speed.<br/> This study analyze backpressure distribution and flow characteristics of the semi-active muffler and the passive muffler, analyze the improvement of the backpressure and flow causing to the setting up the exhaust variable valve through the thermal flow numeral analysis.

Recently automobile exhaust system complex has many components concerning to the environmental restrictions. Also it brings the engine performance down by increasing the backpressure in the exhaust system. In this study, it is to analyze how backpressure influences on the combustion characteristics of engine with semi-active muffler, to reduce the noise and vibration. The performance of semi-active muffler is determined by the parameter of exhaust variable valve. The exhaust variable valve is affected by the air gap, diameter of wire, coil number and free angle. The free angle influences the backpressure performance fully. In this study, using semi-active muffler technology, we make . five types of exhaust variable valve with free angle. The pressure transducers are set up on inlet of the catalytic converter and the main muffler to analyze the back pressure characteristics of the exhaust system. The experiments are carried out differently type of semi-active muffler.

In recent years, the influence automobile emission control on environment has becom an increasingly serious problem and exist noise problem, Particulary, in this problem influence development sub muffler, dual muffler, etc. These exhaust component constantly increased. In this reason, Back pressure from the automobile is generated by various shape such as the internal combustion engine, the inlet and exhasut components and the flow the exhaust pipe of the exhaust system. The technicians paid attention to the exhaust system, through which the back pressure with driving speed which is considered to be exhaust system form. the exhaust system attached to the engine affects the combustion performance and torque, power output and back pressure, and they are in opposite relation to each other. In this study, research on back pressure characteristics relate of exhaust system.

The suction pressure of an abnormal condition spark ignition engine which has non adjusting intake valves becomes reduced and residual gas increases at a greater rate than under normal combustions. This reduction in suction pressure is caused by the distribution of in equalable air in a cylinder leading to abnormal combustion. If this condition continues, the engine ceases due to an increase in engine heat loss.<br/> In this study, we conducted tests to determine the combustion characteristics of a spark ignition engine under both normal and abnormal conditions. The results of this study will establish basic data analysis for developing an automotive diagnosis system by analyzing some of the factors including pressure in the cylinder, output signal of the MAP Sensor and Exhaust gases.

The influence of the heat sources on LED junction temperature are Engine room air, Back plate, Electric power device, and so on. LED headlamp cooling system is considered to be an important subject for high light efficiency. Because LED Chip will be problem When LED junction temperature be over 135℃. In this Study, the Looped Heat Pipe System is considered to prevent LED Chip fall. The LHPS is consist of evaporator part, condenser part, heat pipe part. The working fluid of LHPS is HCFC-123.
