본 논문은 발전소 보일러 및 제철소 고로의 미분탄 연소방식에 적용이 가능한 유량계 개발에 관한 연구로, 정전 용량을 이용한 미분탄 유량계를 개발하였다. 먼저 관에 흐르는 미분탄의 밀도 측정이 가능한 센서 및 회로를 설계하였고, 측정된 데이터를 분석하고 밀도를 계산하는 알고리즘을 구현하였다. 압송시스템에 설치된 로드셀의 출력 데이터와 측정된 데이터를 비교하여 개발된 유량계의 신뢰성을 확인하였다. In this paper, the flow meter system for pulverized coal is developed for the pulverizer-burner system of the boiler or the blast furnace. The sensor of the system applied the capacitance with a pair of electrode on the outer wall of the electric insulator pipe. The circuit is designed for the measurement of the granule flow density combining as a measuring electrode and a reference. In order to measure granule-flow density, the calibration curve between the weight measured from loadcell and the voltage from the circuit is created. It is verified that the flow meter system has reliability and accuracy using on-line test.

This paper is development of single-phase brushless DC motor with outer rotor for ventilation fan. Cogging torque causes the noise?vibration to greatest impact on ventilation fan. Asymmetric notches are applied to tapered-teeth for cogging torque reduction of single-phase brushless DC motor. Initial model is notchless and proposed model is applied 2 asymmetric notches. The proposed method is proved motor characteristic through finite element analysis(FEA). Also, experimental results verify that the proposed model considerably reduces cogging torque and have the good sound quality in ventilation system.

This paper proposes the optimal design of stator shape for cogging torque reduction of single-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor with asymmetric notch. This method applied size and position of asymmetric notches to tapered teeth of stator for single-phase BLDC motor. Which affects the variation of the residual flux density of the permanent magnet. The process of optimal design included the extraction of the sampling point by using Latin Hypercube Sampling(LHS), and involved the creation of an approximation model by using kriging method. Also, the optimum point of the design variables were discovered by using the Genetic Algorithm(GA). Finite element analysis was used to calculate the characteristics analysis and cogging torque. As a result of finite element analysis, cogging torque were reduced approximately 39.2% lower than initial model. Also experimental result were approximately 38.5% lower than initial model. The period and magnitude of the cogging torque were similar to the results of FEA.
